More action than brains spoils replayability of this game

Rottenberg's rotten book review, Amazon
16 March 2014
  • Summary: YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT "Elite Force 2" follows the adventures of Lt. Munro, leader of the Hazard team, Starfleet's special commando team "Elite Force". (Unlike the first EF game, you play Munroe only as a guy.

It's no Elite Force 1

Peter Drake, Amazon
12 November 2010
  • Summary: The gameplay is nice, the graphics are pretty nice, but the game overall is just OK. About the gameplay, I'm glad that you actually have a tricorder and use it for different things.

EF2 only half as good as EF1

Gregory Bartz "Gregorius", Amazon
1 October 2003
  • Summary: This is going to just be a comparison between Elite Force 1 and 2. EF1: Lots of varied architecture, including Borg, Etherian, Klingon, etc., with no repeats. Many of these architectures are really gorgeous. This applies to both single-player and multi-player maps.

Good, but 'elite'?

Amazon
14 July 2003
  • Summary: This game's graphics and story line are much improved on the first entry, ST: Elite Force. It also adds some puzzle-solving tasks, which is a nice way to break up the action. If you liked the first game you are likely to enjoy this sequel, but don't expect anything new to the FPS genre.

Set Phasers to Stun

RC, Amazon
21 November 2004
  • Summary: All in all this was a decent game. The atmosphere was good, and the graphics were much improved from the original Elite Force. The weapons and sounds were authentic to the series as well. So what, you may ask, is the reason I only gave it a 3? This is because it has poor replay value.

Mildly Entertaining - Mindnumbing redundancy

Brian B. "_code_poet_", Amazon
14 January 2004
  • Summary: This was a disappointing follow up to the previous release. I was interested in the Star Trek world and really excited when I found out this took place on the Enterprise. However, that excitement slowly faded to bland interest. Let me give you the lowdown on how this game works.

ST : Elite Force 2

Chris "chrisgb", Amazon
22 December 2003
  • Summary: The original Elite Force was a long way from eing "excellent" - while it looked nice, it was far too short. Elite Force 2 is a bit more in the same vein. The game is longer than its predecessor, although the lengthy storyline cut-scenes do become quite annoying later in the game.

More of the same but still good Trekkie fun

Mr. D. J. Marsh "mr tibbles", Amazon
31 October 2003
  • Summary: If you liked the first Elite Force, you should enjoy this one but don't expect anything particularly new. In fact, there are a few things that aren't as good as the original Elite Force.

Excellent Star Trek Acton!!!

"timpeters2005", Amazon
3 August 2003
  • Summary: Personally, I loved this game as I’m a great fan of all the star trek series. But even as game without the star trek support, it’s simply amazing. That said, it is even better if you watch next generation and voyager a lot.
