Summary: When I finally figured out the trick to fighting in this game.. the quest became quite easy. The harder levels are a bit insane and when you change tactics - the end result of the game play doesn't respond much.
Summary: The game stays very true to the Star Trek universe while being accessible and very fun. Loads of addon ships, effects, systems, and more give the game massive replay value, and the online play can be very fun. While the default ship models aren't very good by today's standards, the actual graphics engine is quite good and, with some spiffy new ship models, can look photorealistic.
Summary: A Brilliant, vibrant Star Trek affair that was well worth the wait. This title is literally overflowing with fun, rock-solid gameplay that really does bring all the cool elements of the tv shows to life.
Summary: I bought this game very quickly after it came out having heard many good reports about it but was sad to find that it lacked any real depth and that the gameplay was boring. At the start the story seemed interesting but the gameplay was so boring that I never finished the story as the game was back at the shop in the next couple of days. After that it was straight back to Klingon Academy.
Summary: A brilliant experience. Bridge Commander is a must-buy. For more information, please visit my fansite Groundbc.com for the latest news and boatloads of content! You can also check out my full review there.
Summary: This game is pretty cool. I have always been a Trekkie to the core, and have played many of the Trek titles out there. My favorite was Star Trek 25th Anniversary. Mainly because of the ship to ship combat in it. However, this game blew it out of the water for starship combat. Graphics were decent, as well as sound. A few down side are that it was pretty liner and a few things where out of place from the Trek universe. So in all a good, game. Well worth a score of 8.
Summary: It's nice to see something really new, as opposed to the same old crap with slightly different graphics slapped on it. This game is truely unique. Some folks (see Sam's comments, errr, comment) will rush in and rush out quickly, not finding the "Doom" first person shooter interface they were hoping for, or whatever.
