The slick additions Galactic Adventures brings to Spore's main game are all elements that should have been there in the first place. It's hard to shake the feeling that these adventures are a crucial piece of the puzzle that was missing on launch day. Regardless, they're a pleasant addition that injects another dimension of fun into the space stage. Read more

Boldly go where no Spore has gone before. When Spore first came out on the PC a while back, I didn’t know quite what to think of it. Was it some space-age spin-off of the Sims? Or some genetic game gone awry? Safe to say, after playing the game I found that it offered a deep and satisfying chain of character evolution, both in genetics and in personality. Read more

It is hard to believe that it has been nearly a year since one of the most innovative games was released for the personal computer. Spore took the gaming world by storm, and gave a new meaning to user generated content. It was only a matter of time before a real expansion pack would be released for the game (the various creature packs do not count); and it is entitled Galactic Adventuress. Read more

As you'd expect from any decent expansion pack, there are loads of new items to enjoy. The new creature rewards include energy blades, there are fresh dance moves, the ability to hover, stun charms, a jump jet and many others. But this expansion pack boasts yet another killer feature, namely the ability to create limitless new adventures. Read more

- If the original game didn't press your buttons, this expansion probably won't either.
