Summary: I played this on the PC and had absolutely zero technical problems. This is a nicer-looking Chaos Theory only without the content, wit or charm. While there is the addition of swimming in Double Agent it is only used in two levels so it feels more like a gimmick than an addition to Sam Fisher's...
Summary: I love the splinter cell games but this one is so buggy and unfinished its almost not worth playing. There's even unfinished artwork in the game, (models missing textures, facial rigging that hasn't been weighted properly) And I cant even reconfigure the mouse controls.
Summary: Very disappointing effort, Ubi. You were doing so well with the ports from the last three Splinter Cell games, what happened here? The safe cracking barely works, the unlocks don't appear in my inventory, no matter what I do, the story seems to have been cut in half so the extra space could be used...
Potentially a great game, but shows the lacking of time in the development

Summary: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (SC: DA) is potentially a great game, the story line is good, the AI has improved even from the fantastic Chaos Theory, but here are the following problems: 1) The PC version is highly buggy.
Summary: Two things to keep in mind with this game: 1. it really is as buggy as they say, even with a good rig, and the patches released to date don't help much 2. it has lost a lot of the stealth style that made the series the king of its genre - running around in Kinshassa in broad daylight really doesn't...
Summary: now id really like to love this game but i cant, from what i've played it's amazing, but there is way to many bug's and problem's with the game. typically i'll load up the game (which take's over 10 minutes thanks to monster loading time's) play afew minutes of a level then cry as the game yet again...
Summary: I would not waste you time buying this game for the PC as it is bugged to hell many graphical errors shody menu system and a inability to change the graphics from Next Gen to standard. This game really feels like a bad console port if you don't believe me check the forums for splinter cell 4.
Summary: I thought Chaos Theory was one of the best PC games i have ever played, but with Double Agent (DA) Ubisoft have really messed up. It wouldn't even run until i went on the forums and saw that you had to install the direct x version that comes with the game..
Summary: I want to like this game, really I do, and if it wasn't for all the bugs, BSOD's and really looooooooooooooooooong loading times I might just be able to. I'm only part way in so far and in all honesty, I can't be bothered to go back to it.
Excerpt: I have always been a Splinter Cell fan, and I had been looking forward to this new title for some time, when I one day went down to the store and bought this game. Previous to that, I had tried out the demo of the multiplayer part of this game.
Pros: Good graphics, generally good gameplay, presentation .
