Summary: Do you know why Sam got his **** face on the cover of the retail package? Yeah, that **** face staring at you. Do you know why? Oh, because he is trying to warn you: "Don't play this game, I didn't want to be in Double Agent, this game sucks." That's what uncle Sam's facial expression is about.
Summary: This game made me want to skin a dolphin with all the bugs, excessively long loading screens, and generally poor performance. The game randomly crashes to the desktop while trying to load or returning to the game after adjusting settings.
Summary: It had a great storyline, and the graphics were really great, but i've played MUCH better games with far less system requirements. It was absolute crap to run. I played the game without shooting my guns once because the muzzle flash would kill my computer.
Summary: The game has been out for a while so this review is for newcomers to the splintercell franchise. BE CAUTIOUS! It is true that you need a super computer to run this game, even with low graphics.
Summary: Shoulda, woulda, coulda, but didna. Sorry, way too buggy. A disgraceful end to a previously magnificent series. Keep your money. Its atrocious, and worse it has been that way for months now, not even a worthwhile patch to save some face.
Summary: I've enjoyed and comleted the whole Splinter Cell Series up to now. I also have a surprisingly powerful and shockingly stable PC. I haven't completed Double Agent because it is buggy, crashy and burny. Full marks for the actual game, but don't buy it because you won't actually be able to play it!
Summary: Got this game bundled with my new Ge-Force card. Just pleased i read the reviews after thinking my upgrade was below par. Its not my new card, its the game. As with most of the reviews here, i say forget it, dont matter what spec you have, it will bug you.
Summary: Splinter Cell: Double Agent ABSOLUTELY requires a graphics card that supports Shaders 3.0. This means that the majority of gamers will not be able to run this game: for instance, I have an ATI X850XT card which was state-of-the-art less than 2 years ago (and cost well over £300), but cannot run this...
Summary: I have been a fan of the splintercell games since the original war released, and have never had any problem with the games other than the fact they are too hard and very testing in parts. So naturally I was looking forward to this installment.
Summary: I'm only giving it one star because I can't find "zero stars". I've not seen a blue screen of death in years, I try playing SC:DA and several come along all at once. Hmmm. As for the game, when it is working. Well. I don't know what this IS, but it ISN'T Splinter Cell.
