Summary: Yes, blah blah, there's a big twist at the end (that everyone sees coming from halfway in) but at its core, it's a first person shooter. And that's all. Entertaining, but not incredibly dynamic. It didn't hit me as emotionally as it hit some others, but to each their own.
Summary: Good singleplayer, only occassional glitches but no multiplayer :( The campaign storyline was very different. It provided the player with a true sense of the character, but the there are no servers in multiplayer.
Summary: As a story, I'd have given this 5 stars. But story must be balanced against gameplay and replay-ability, which unfortunately aren't up to par. I can't comment on multi-player (if any) because MP is not my thing. The good: * Story is fascinating. I read that it was, but until I experienced it I didn't really get why. But yes, it is. I found it evolutionary, sort of like how Max Payne was (though I couldn't ever quite fall in love with MP).
Summary: The game is very linear and for the most part is as determinate as they come. The only thing that makes the game stand-out is its powerful story, which is totally worth the price of admission if you can get the game for $15 or less. Otherwise I'd skip this one.
Summary: From all the commercials and reviews this game looks amazing, but ive been having super bad lag issues with it when I first purchased it. I havent loaded it up lately but maybe its good to go now. I would however suggest having a more than midlevel PC to run this game.
Summary: This game feels like a C***** Ghost Recon solider Future Knock off. The controls make covering and swapping cover APITA. You can't shoot down the sights unless you have a scope. I think if you could adjust the contols more it would help. But I every time I play it I feel like I am playing G.R. Future solider with way better background scenery. Multi-player is a joke and had me swapping hosts every 2 minutes.
Summary: I just wanted to report that with a HD6870 I am also experienceing some "lag" at times - this has never happened to me before - and Steam Rocks for all those haters out there, it is NOT steam that makes the game lag after all. I thought the missions were kinda short - the single player games cant be more than 5 hours as i did 1st 3 missions in an hour, but we'll see - other than the minor stutters i get occasionally the game is pretty fun - i am using the 360 controller...
