Summary: I bought this game expecting it to be something similar to Dungeon Siege or Dungeon Siege 2. The only similarity it has to DS and DS2 is the control scheme. Hold right click to attack, mow things down. This game has NO challenge, HORRID story line, and took all of about 6 hours to beat the first path through. The game is simplistic, rudimentary, and a complete and total waste of money.
Summary: Horrible. I could kick myself for not checking out a demo of this first. The game play is a total let down, there is seemly no point to some of the objectives. The story line is a fragamented joke. This is not a game the I would have expected to come from GPG, there are many other games out there that you could play that would cost half the price. The graphics are not bad, the sound isn't even bad, but you can put a pig in a dress and teach it sing but it is still a pig.
I was going to buy this game until I played the Demo

Summary: Being a big Dungeon Siege fan, I was really excited for a chance to try this game. The original Dungeon Siege demo hooked me in and made me a fan of the game right away. So I was eagerly awaiting Gas Powered Games newest version. With a new Sci-fi setting this could of been a truly remarkable and unique experience. However from the very brief demo I am totally turned off from this game.
Summary: Please try the demo before you buy! This probably goes without saying but what you see in the demo is EXACTLY what you should expect from the game - nothing less and most definitely nothing more. I also thought this game would be like Dungeon Siege, but man was I wrong! I used to think of Gas Powered games as the software equivalent of movie guru George Lucas. Gas Powered Games produced games that were ambitious, exciting, creative, and worth the money.
Summary: The game can seriously be finished in 10 hours or less. There's no challenge, no big twists and the ending is a joke. Words just fail to describe how crappy this is. There's no replayability in it either, cuz in the end, it doesn't matter if you're a cyborg or a full human; wether you join Pilot or fight against him: cuz the end encounters are exactly the same. Extremely disappointed in this game.
Conclusion: If your looking for Dungeon Siege 2 in space as I was will be very disappointed, there is an awful control system. There is no upgrades to the weapons, the plot and story is very linear and you never get off the ship. I expected more of travelling to new worlds, of upgrading the ship and weapons. You have only 1 companion which is a rubbish robot, all he is good for is as a shield for 5-10 seconds. What Happened, wait till it drops in price.
Summary: You may be thinking "Oh, is this a new FPS or Shoot em,up?" Well no, it is a shoot em,up but with tactics? Yes you have to navigate yourself using the mouse clicking on the place you want to be, not only that you have to click on the enemy that you want to attack (With the option to free shoot using the ^Shift Key), this didn't appeal to me. The graphics are medium, you will find yourself getting annoyed with the camera because it gets in the way.
