Summary: I agree with Mark Lahren's review. Well detailed review. This is my first "higher end" game and I found it thorougly enjoyable. I liked the hints to give you some idea what to do. Ran well on Windows 7 64-bit, i5 3.2 Ghz processor, 4Gb RAM and an nVidia GT430 video card. It would really be helpful if other reviewers would list their operating system flavor as most of the time that I read a review I'm trying to find out the likelyhood of the product working on Windows 7...
Summary: This game is really pretty fun, you have to enjoy games that require a little bit of patience, ie sneaking around, using cover, and taking your time with shots, but if you want a game that uses tactics on pretty much every mission, give this game a go. One thing to keep in mind is this game was released for 30 or 40 dollars last fall and has already dropped to 17 on digital download, you cant expect a great call of duty/battlefield competitor for that price.
Summary: When I played through this game I liked the fact that it emphasized the use of stealth, which is one aspect that I believe to be very important that is missing from countless first person shooters. This being noted, the way City Interactive S.A. achieved this in "Sniper Ghost Warrior" was somewhat un-realistic in my opinion (unless the A.I.
Summary: I am a retired police officer/sniper, and I love Sniper games! Probably because I never got to shoot anyone in all my years as a sniper. I read all of the reviews before I bought it and one guy who said he was in training as a sniper liked it and I found it for $17 so what the heck? I loved the graphics in this game, in a South Sea Island, reminded me of Far Cry I, not Far Cry 2.
Pros: Really starts out good first 3 episodes were cool then it turn's into a really bad shooter. What happen to the sniper part. Why the 4 stars
Cons: Price.. it is STEAM 45 MIN. to load but for the price you get what you pay for.One part where i'm in battle with 30 soldier's i keep getting killed no sniper rifle just an m16.Graphics are pretty good not the best.Work's for me..250 gts E8400 at 1600x1200.
Summary: It took me a while to decide to purchase Sniper: Ghost Warrior and now that I did I find that it wasn't as bad as some were saying. I was looking for something to pass the time that was more challenging and would make you stop and think what the heck is the best way to handle the situation the game puts you in. Being a sniper puts you at some pretty long distances and calls for a pretty steady aim/hand to make a shot.
Summary: My only concern is... The maps are closed... you can't run or walk with freedom searching the best position for your shot... you are obligate to walk for the marked path. Otherwise.... is very..
If you are a sniper then.............................

Summary: I have been really hooked on sniper games. Started with with alot and they did not cut it. Sniper Ghost Warrior is great because it makes you think about wether to go in and kill or be a real sniper and slip by these so called enemies. Great game! I just went to Windows 7 from Windows XP and increased my graphics card. Remember if you do this you will of course not be able to play your favorite oldies, especially Electronic Arts.
