Slumber Canine

Mateo, Amazon
30 June 2014
  • Summary: Nice game, nice graphical representation of Kowloon Town, and other locale. A pretty damn good story, that's why I kept playing past the first few missions. I don't recommend the dlc missions though.

Sleeping Dogs, Like GTA in Asia!

TheGeekOfwildwood, Amazon
25 May 2014
  • Summary: Note: to see this review with formatting and pictures go to:[...] Sleeping Dogs is a Open World combat game. it takes pages from Grand Theft Auto and Batman Arkham Asylum. While guns are a big part of Grand Theft Auto in Sleeping Dogs hand-to-hand combat is the most used weapon, with Knifes/bars coming in second. you can get guns, but not by buying them. you have to take them from the police or the elite thugs. this is the first thing about Sleeping Dogs i dislike.

Fantastic game!

Jakub Zaborowski, Amazon
7 May 2014
  • Summary: Great atmosphere of Hong Kong and triad wars. A little bad optimization of graphics for PC - game is laggy at some moments.

Fun game

Gamer, Amazon
25 April 2014
  • Summary: I somewhat felt like they released the game before completing its development, but still a very fun game. I would definitely buy if they release an expansion or another version.

Worth playing

Nathan Buttars, Amazon
21 April 2014
  • Summary: Think GTA with better hand to hand combat. Some of the side missions are really dull, and the story is a bit generic... Don't expect a ground breaking experience, expect some mindless fun.

Good game and Steamworks

Mickael L, Amazon
18 March 2014
  • Summary: About the Amazon product, good point it is Steam compatible. The game itself is a great value for whoever likes the GTA series but in an unusual environment (Hong Kong). However, dialogues could have been dubbed in full Cantonese to be more immersive instead of a mix English/Cantonese

A few bugs and odd aspects, but still fun

Mohamed Benkermi, Amazon
22 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought it when it was on sale, and it's definitely worth the price. Fun melee combat system, interesting open world, the story so far is pretty good. The voice acting can be quite funny at times (don't know if it's intended). It does have a few bugs, the camera angle while driving is horrendous, controlling vehicles can be frustrating at times, but apart from that, it's quite fun.

Fills the gaps that GTA leaves you with

Luke & Cassi Hersey "herkens", Amazon
19 November 2013
  • Summary: To all of those that think this is just a GTA clone you are almost right. This game is the same in every way but two aspects; one the combat system and two lack of moral delema. The combat system instead of random shooting and misplaced kicks you have a kung fu marshel arts system that makes the game feel more action packed in those sections.

Good game, but a bit buggy

M. T., Amazon
9 November 2013
  • Summary: This was definitely a fun game to play once I got into it, but there is a glitch on the very first mission that made me stop playing it for a few weeks. After I actually got into the game, it turned out to be fairly fun. Not the greatest game, but definitely entertaining for several hours.

Nice fun game, Don't expect the complicity of GTA though

Mansooratyale, Amazon
7 May 2013
  • Summary: Great game, fun and entertaining. You will enjoy the new tricks (hoping from one car to another to hijack it), you will enjoy the modern setting. Still, it's a mid range game, not "GREAT", but fun if you get it for a good price like now (7 May 2013, $10). Don't go with DLC, they don't worth it.
