Summary: Had to get a second one from the seller. The first one was previously opened. No problems with the second game. I played the game using a 360 controller, it worked well. did not fully support the 360 right out of the box. The game did do a good job using it though. When i asked for a different item from the first the seller sent me another one speedily and did his best to help me.
Summary: I bought this for my grandson for christmas and he was so supprised because he thought as well as I did that there was no game for the DS Lite or the computer for the Skylanders. I came across this by accident and bought it and he has played with this everyday since christmas day.
Summary: My 8 year old is obsessed with the characters. I sometimes feel like it is more of a curse for buying this game. On the upside, it is a really cool game and they work together as a team to win battles. They love it and are working on getting more characters. I have used this as a way to get them to read more in order to play more on the weekends.
Summary: Installing the game is old school clunky (they should have put the game inside the portal), but once you get past that you are in for a very fun game. It's simple to play, colorful, and swapping characters on the portal works flawlessly. There is no jump button, instead they use bouncing platforms. Even so, this is still a platforming game. If you liked the old Maximo series on PS2, Rachet and Clank, or anything along those lines then you know what to expect from this.
Summary: I give this game 5 stars because it works well (and anyone with any sense knows you check the specs before you purchase a game) and it's easy to work with. So innovative too. I love that my son can play with the family on the xbox but if he wants to play it on his own on his desktop computer, he can. I love that the figures can be used on the desktop or the xbox, it doesn't matter. If one of his friends as a PS3, they will play on that too.
