Summary: I have two copies of this game. I bought it for multiplayer internet play. Upside is it is a neat game but when I try to play on the internet it is a nightmare. I set up my account fine and then the hassle starts. I try to access internet play and it says I have an old version of the game.
Summary: I bought this game primarily for the cool mods figuering it would be like multiple games with all these cool mods like star wars, star trek, battlestar galactica, ect. It literally was the deciding factor I buy it then find out each works only with a specific version of the game like version 1.05...

Summary: Unless you want to play this games without any of the official upgrades, don't bother buying a used copy. Stardock will make you buy a new copy to get any upgrades -- and they'll be pretty arrogant about it too, in my experience :(
Summary: Huge disappointment I barely escaped wasting fifty bucks on “Spore” because rather than getting caught up in the media frenzy around that electronic version of the Edsel, I waited to see what the reactions of the gaming community were. Glad I waited.
Summary: What I really want is a 4X game that brings the elements of Imperium galactica 2 (over 12 years old now) into this century and beyond. In the last few years, games and tried (and failed) to liven up this genre of game and bring something truly remarkable and playable.
Conclusion: I am glad that I waited to get this game, only Â£10 but still disappointed. From a seasoned Civ player I was expecting alot more strategy, but as always with RTS it is "grab the resource, build more than your opponent and attack".
