Summary: I love The SIms but I have no clue why I keep buying the over priced stuff in the Sims store. I don't feel this world came with enough stuff to be worth $8 never mind $20. I wish it came with some hair options and an eye patch in the accessories section would have been nice!!! I haven't actually played in the world just looked at the stuff it came with. I will report back once I actually play.
Summary: Barnacle Bay adds nauticle items to your game. It doesn't inhance or deflect from the fun of the game, just adds a little flavor. If you're hard core and want all of the games, add this, if you're not so much into the nauticle, skip it.
Summary: I have not bought this, but i love the sims3..it is really awesome compared to the beginning Sims..,,,more like second life avatars....(i will not get into the rip-off of that). But, I do not like The Sims Store...Outrageous prices for items and then, people that do not have that stuff cannot get items off the Exchange..It is just a way to rip people off and those of us who are poor, cannot afford it anyway. I am lucky to get the main expansions.
Summary: I got this content from the store and thought that it was going to be a sort of expansion and this is not true. This is simply content that you can get from the Sims 3 store. You must enter and get it that way too which is also confusing because that is not mentioned. If you want to get the stuff go to the Sims 3 store and get it there instead. It comes with a new town and pirate clothes and hair styles but that is pretty much it.
Summary: I removed this item from my Amazon wishlist because it turns out there is no Barnacle Bay DVD in existance, you're buying a code to enable you to download it. I'd rather do that thru EA's site than through a third party.
Summary: The game is so-so. Mostly I'm curious where everyone got this idea that there is a DVD included. Maybe they changed the description after all the negative reviews, but currently it says nothing about receiving a disk. It actually mentions twice that this is just a game download. Moral: always read the description before you buy something. And if you don't read it, don't complain when it's not what you ASSUMED it would be. Other than that the game is nothing special.
Summary: I knew there was no DVD in the box and I got mine from Wal-Mart. The code is not fully there and I cant return it. Wal-Mart is saying because I opend the package and its not their fault that there is no code in box.
Summary: This was very confusing -- My daughter opened the long-awaited package to find no DVD. Thinking it was a mistake, we called and they are sending us another game. Then we find out there is no DVD in the package -- only an unlock code, despite the fact that the Amazon description and the Game case say it is a DVD -- somebody needs to proofread these things before they release them to the public.
