Summary: Given my experience with a much earlier SH version, SH4 lives entirely up to my expectations, with superb and impressive graphics, plus variable degrees of realism and difficulty that provide as massive a challenge as the player wishes.
Works in Windows 7 + Linux LMDE Cinnamon and Wine.

Summary: Good game, it will run in Windows 7. The program is real involved and requires a lot of strategy. Graphics and sound is real good even though it's an older game. I've only had a few minor problems with it with crashes but I am thinking it's associated with MS Windows 7 problems.
Summary: very slow game. There is a lot of waiting and long duration between battles. Of course, that's a lot closer to reality of war, but when playing a video game, you don't really want to set a course and then turn and watch 30 minutes of TV before turning back around for 5-10 minutes of action.
Summary: Works with windows 7 & 8. Nice graphics. AI for enemy is pretty basic, not very challenging. SOme of the missions require long transits to war zone. This can be tedious at times, even when speeding up game play.
