Siege of Avalon
Game Over Online
11 July 2015
Excerpt: Digital Tome is a Texas-based developer. If you go to their web site , you'll notice that their tagline is "Played Any Good Books Lately?" and that they advertise their first game, Siege of Avalon, as an "episodic computer game novel.
Excerpt: The Siege of Avalon Anthology is a welcome breath in the world of role-playing games. No, the game does not break any technical benchmarks or cause your processor to smoke under the weight of the graphics processing.
Conclusion: In a way, Siege of Avalon is a beginners' course of RPG for newbies. Even though it has a great story, which is sufficiently complex and intriguing to keep you glued to the screen for hours, the game lacks depth we had a chance to see in Baldur's Gate.
Pros: Interesting and complex plot;
Cons: Too much text to read, occasionally monotonous.
Excerpt: Siege of Avalon is almost a traditional Role-Playing Game with Real Time combat system. The novelty here is that this game is the first one that has been divided into six different chapters that are being sold one at time.
