Great product, though Windows 7 fans should be aware of glitching.

Summary: This is a fun little game. I remembered playing it several years ago and at the time loved it. I got nostalgic last month and decided to go ahead and purchase a copy. It was just as fun as I remember. I do however want to warn Windows 7 people, the game does glitch and shut down pending situations, mostly involving heavy traffic/building in a city that you might be trying to add on to. Other than that, I love the game!
Summary: I admit I was skeptical when I bought this game but the price was right so I decided to try it. I am glad I did! The graphics are really cool on this game and it is so easy to learn to play. The tutorial is very helpful and I love competing against the computer. You can also play it in many other modes too, including just yourself. It is realistic and with many options. I haven't tried everything yet but what I have has addicted me to it.
Summary: I was a fan of the original DOS version. When I found out that the the DOS version was free download and there was a demo for this version, I had to try it out. With smoother game play, easier building, and more industries to ship to different towns, Sid Meier's did a wonderful job of bringing back a classic.
Summary: The game while sharing a lot of traits with Railroad Tycoon 2 also brings to the table a couple improvements like beautiful graphics, good sound effects and background music for each city, fluid railcar movements while curving and merging and easy progress reports. Its not without its flaws though, like for example I have yet to find a way to destroy rails and there aren't too many scenarios to play with.
Summary: If you like Railroad stuff you will love this game. It has many different types of trains and allows you to build your own world as you lay you track across the country. Purchase it and you won't regret it...
Summary: Great game, a little slow at getting the game going. You know how it is when you just want to do it all.Takes time,so don't get mad.Once you get the tracks built and the trains going ,there's nothing like it. My Grandson (5 years) has thanked me over and over.He loves to see the bridges and tunnels. He's also learning the names of towns through each map.It does get slow when the trains are unloading. The sawmill is so neat loading logs on the train,..
