Summary: Well the site work well enough to take my money, but hits error codes when trying to download the game. Mind you I'm not computer literate, but really shouldn't a game be pretty easy to get up and running. If this is not solved, I'll be looking for some compensation, and not likely attempt this sort of purchase again.
Summary: I attempted to download at least a dozen times only to have a corrupt file. I attempted to solve this issue through Amazon but as of yet no one has responded and Feral Games isn't answering either. For $30 you would think that you could download the file. I wouldn't be so upset if I was getting a DVD with this purchase that isn't an option. I am very disappointed at the overall process of this purchase. This is a great game, if only I could play it.
Summary: I tried loading this game on 3 different computers and it would not run properly on any of them. Customer support said my SiS Mirage Graphics Card was not supported. Well I guess my Dell and Toshiba arent either.
Summary: This is an extremely dumbed down version of previous Railroad Tycoon games and it's really a disappointment. Don't expect: To lay your track precisely, you don't even get an option. To figure out switchbacks and all the other routing problems. Lots of trains, there seem to be less than any previous version. To buy or build industries except in cities. Station improvements, you can only upgrade a station twice, no other options. Managers giving you bonuses.
Summary: This game is in such a sorry state that I don't even know where to begin. First of all, this is not at all what I expected and what I wanted. Sid is known for very complex simulations and I preordered this game only because I saw his name as the game designer. Alas, the game is the most dumbed down train simulation I had ever seen. Looks like Sid jumped in the "easy, fast and easy" bandwagon.
Summary: The game: I love it! I wasn't expecting much from the other reviews here -- but when I downloaded the demo, I knew I needed the full game. It's a lot of fun. The copy protection: Awful! One day I couldn't play this game anymore because it accused me of using a backup. I went online and was told, "If this message occurs, although you are using the original disc, please check if the correct communication mode is being used with your drive.
