The Remake of a forgotten game.

Summary: I have noticed over reviewers complain about being forced to declare independence and how this is unlike other CIv games, and giving low ratings due to that and some related issues. This is a remake of Sid Meiers Colonization, a non-Civ game from the early 90s.
Not up the the quality of other Civilization IV games

Summary: I am a great fan of Civ IV; however, I was not impressed what so-ever with Colonization. The graphics are nice and that is about the only exciting point of the game. The game moves slowly and it is a bit more of a micro-managment game than the other games in the Civilizaion IV series.
Old fans of the originl game wii fondly remember the clean graphics and easy interface of the old game.

Summary: Not very impressive so far. I'm a big fan of the original and I see many of the same elements in the remake, but it's just not a clear interface. I'm 4 hours in and having trouble doing basic things, like looking at the terrain and distinguishing what it is, and therefore what resources are...
Summary: First the bad. Civ4, and now Civ5, is game I can just play over and over again and not get tired of. This is mostly because of the variety of civilizations, victory conditions, strategies, etc. Colonization, by comparison, has a very limited scope (albeit a good one).
