Summary: Been playing since release, what can i say...i havnt slept...its pretty awesome, best total was since medieval 2! Looks amazing even tho theres no dx11 untill they patch it, then it'll be a 11/10!
Summary: This game is the bomb, this game is a mix of Shogun 1 + Medieval 2 + Empire = Shogun 2. Steam is required, but its worth it, I downloaded it from Amazon with no problems at all. Took maybe 3 hours to download, and 20 mins to install. Update I've been playing for two days now, and it still awsome. Havent really played multiplayer much, just campaign. I've tried three faction, and in everyone one I get way over my head.
Summary: Totally immense. Been waiting for this ages for ages, at last it is here and I just can't put it down! The graphics are sensational, out of this world! The siege battles were just amazing, probably the best bit of the whole game! I literally cannot put it down, I don't think I will be leaving the house for the next few weeks!
Summary: Gosh, I say this game is rather fantastic! I'd been anticipating its arrival for months now and practically ripped it from my butler's hands this morning, feverishly unwrapped it and inserted the disc into one of my personal computers, and was it worth the wait? The answer is a resounding "RATHER!" . Being an avid historian, and a gentleman rather acquainted with Asian history, I found the game to be absolutely delightful and a feast to all the senses!
Summary: My son who hated strategy games now loves playing them because of this series of games through the ages got a surprise when he got Dad to play head to head figured he had the advantage because dad had not played this series before and he had his butt kicked because he under estimated Dad
Summary: Fall of the Samurai is jet another excellent Total War series extension of STW2. It offers new SP campaign based on Boshin war - war on which The Last Samurai movie is based on. It is an era of modernization and industrialization which brings new fighting strategies based on firearms. The way of the sword is falling and the way of the gun is rising. In multiplayer you are now able to fight traditional armies from STW2 or new ones from FOTS.
Total War: Shogun 2 - Limited Edition (PC): Technically brilliant, failed to engage
26 September 2012
Summary: I have been a fan of the Total War series since the first Medieval game (I missed out on the original Shogun). There's something about the mix of micromanagement strategic planning and fast paced battles that appeals to me. With this in mind I bought this game soon after it was released. It immediately became apparent that the studio had worked hard on improving the graphics since the (already beautiful) last outing.
Pros: Graphically stunning, improved ai, new innovations
Cons: lacks engaging storyline, little difference between clans
