  • Summary: its an awesome game kinda reminds me a lot of sid miers civilization series but a little bit different, i thought it would be a regular game and not a turn based game but its ok you get used to it after a while

Waste of money. The game never worked on my pc

Lisa the Mom, Amazon
16 February 2014
  • Summary: I download games all the time and have reasonable expectations. Not only did this game take forever to download but when it finally did, it NEVER worked. It slowed down my entire system then my pc kept crashing and freezing up. I had to uninstall, which by the way was no easy task. There was no way to get a refund or any support. This was a complete waste of money and time. Do not buy.

  • Summary: If you are a fan of any of the Total War series then you need this for your collection. What is great about the gameplay is that you can use your navy to bombard cities to assist when you attack. Lots of fun.

Revised: Steam Punked in Total War

  • Summary: I was finally able to run the game in a stable mode thanks to some advice I found online by Captain Jack Gumption on YouTube. I can take neither credit nor responsibility for the Captain's clever fix for Windows 7 OS by increasing video memory. Shogun II has run without a hiccup for a few thousand turns at this point.

Solid Total War Title

Merrick, Amazon
8 February 2014
  • Summary: Pro's: Immersive campaign map. Strategic planning based on seasons and unique clans with different play styles. Great tactical battle mode simulation, I have replayed the game many times. Cons: Processor intensive but only uses two cores by design. Inefficient use of hardware. Notes: I have played a few of the Total War series but am not a true fan. This game is by far the most fun of those I have played.

A One of a Kind

Dalmob, Amazon
27 January 2014
  • Summary: At first I did not like it. I did not understand how to do things. As I failed alot, and learned... it became very clear that this took some planning. The diplomacy is a major part of this game. Quite updated from Medieval TW 2, upon which I tend to judge all other products of this genre. It can be VERY demanding. I find that slow turns, which are well thought out.. are rewarded. In this title this is especially true.

Could of been better.

Charles hill, Amazon
25 January 2014
  • Summary: I was not much of a fan of this game because so far it looks like each faction has the same type of unit. When it comes to my warring factions I like it when each one has their own unit lay out is tailor made to kill for them. Did not like the siege battles. I was able to use 36 guys to fend off 356 guys. The person out side the gate can easily be picked off by long range attacks. The AI only loves to clime my wall they do not try to attack my gate.
