Summary: *Update*: the bug where the AI stops issuing orders during sieges still happens, though less frequently. It no longer seems to happen during sea battles, though. I never got into Multiplayer. As I allude to below, it's a gigantic pain when the "perks" you can earn completely unbalance the game, and the matchmaking system never matches you with similarly ranked players. It's just annoying. Think if Call of Duty gave you laser beams as an experience-point perk.
Summary: One thing you can rest asured and is that no matter how many times you play this game it will always be a new experience. the AI is totaly unpredictable and just when you thought that you could hand it over, a new turn would let you wonder how was that you didn't think about that small detail. from the very begining every decision counts whether on the battlefield or the campain.
good game but not programmed for mainstream deployment

Summary: bought this game so i could play it in my off-time while deployed to Base XX. Well it is safe to safe that i was very upset when i found out that my current graphics card on my 3 yr. old laptop can't push the game and it ended up being glitchy that the game is unplayable. Now one may say, "maybe you should just update your laptop..
Summary: Shogun 2 Total War is yet another great game by the Total War team. The game did a great job with historical accuracy of units and territories. The game play is standard fair for a Total War game, so well versed players know what they are getting into. For causal gamers who have enjoyed destroying the traditionally dumb AI from previous games, be prepared for a rough experience.
Summary: Shogun2 TW I'll make this review as short as possible, simply because I'm too busy playing it! I think that's the highest compliment I can give it. S2TW is simply put, an excellent game. So you can quit wasting your time reading my review and do yourself a favor and go on and play it. Still here? Oh well, I'll continue my review then. With S2TW they have matured, refined and distilled the Total War formula to near perfection.
Summary: In simple terms, Total War: Shogun 2 is the best game in the series in a long time. All the mistakes of the last major release, Empire, have been addressed. There are plenty of interesting factions to chooose from, the strategic and tactical AI is improved, and I've heard some good things about the new multiplayer from trusted sources. Even if you are not a big fan of the setting (I'm not), you will still find plenty to keep you happy.
