Summary: The ships look great and the controls and movements are very realistic. The water is well done too, but the environments are very grainy and low def. I would also like to see the editor become more user friendly, because I could get into mission design as I find many of the missions a tad too simple.
Summary: Awesome game for the ship afficianado! Pull oil rigs with a tug, sail the titanic across the atlantic avoiding icebergs and steer a supertanker through New York harbor past the statue of liberty. Inflict damage and your ship will sink. A must have for anyone interested in boats of all kinds.
Summary: Love boats. Simulations are my forte. I feel it is very changeling and although difficult at times it is a learning experience. You can learn quite a lot about certain simulations like Flight Simulator, Train Simulator, etc.
Summary: I really like this Sim a lot. It reminds me of the real life situations i performed in the U.S. Coast Guard. Vstep did an awesome job in the making of this Sim, with the realistic art work of the boats, ships, water and controls on the boats.
Summary: Great game, it is one of the few naval simulation game out there. I recommend it to everybody who is into naval stuff. Graphics are great and controls too. Only few drawbacks, it is imposssssssssible to sink the boat even in heavy seas and it's impossible to have waves bigger than 4 meter high. There is some problems with the physics too, sometimes the boats react strangely in the water. Great game overall, can't wait for SS Extreme to come out.
Summary: Overall it is a VERY realistic simulation, much improvement from earlier versions. It can't handle being minimized, it takes windows out when you try to make it full screen again... otherwise, a great new program!
Conclusion: Vast inprovement on 2006 better graphics more ships 3 more areas to play v step really going from strenth to strenth on there game . still has a few bugs in the game but vstep bringing out patches to sort out problems A GOOD BUY WORTH THE MONEY
