Summary: Apparently (to me) it is up to the customer to create the simulation (or did I miss something?). I could not do anything with SS 2008. If someone is willing to advise me, I will be appreciative. (I'm used to developed simulations, e.g. MS FSX.
Summary: So I got this and first it was kind of tedious but then I added weather and well the titanic in a hurricane can be a hoot I got 08 cause my laptop is horridly slow but when I get my hands on more computer power I'm going to get ship simulator extremes you tube gives you a good idea what to expect check it out there and see if its for you
Summary: This game is a slight Rip off. I must admit the Speed Boat is cool as the Jetskies, Hovercraft and other fast (manuerable) watercraft to speed around on that is a blast...but I really am not so happy with it and this is exactly why, the missions hard to understand, very abstract and disorienting, if not done in the right sequence with multiple boats the mission remains incomplete, and they give you a list of boats with no clue as to what sequence to follow, the Tugs...
Summary: It was a game that my son wanted but there is not any directions or help in how to use the different aspects of it. He isn't able to find out how to do certain parts of it because there aren't any help pages, etc.
Summary: it didn't freeze up so often, usually while loading a scenario. The save feature is nice, even necessary. The graphics are pretty good, considering it's over 4 years old. The handling is pretty realistic. It just has too many errors, and while these are occasional, they're very hard to deal with. I don't recommend this game because of that.
