Reach out and Touch Someone

RPGamer
1 March 2010
  • Excerpt: Developed by the team within Grasshopper Manufacturer Inc. responsible for Shining Soul I and II for the GBA, Contact is the first and, at this time, only original game headed by director Akira Ueda. It was intended to be a nostalgic homage to older games, employing one of a kind, but approachable, interaction gimmicks to serve as the basis for gameplay. This fine line is tread surprisingly well.

Shadowgrounds

Strategy Informer

  • Conclusion: If I had to describe in one word the high point of this game, it would be Atmosphere. This game has it by the mega tonne. Though this is not high budget or high tech, the developers have used the elements at their disposal to their best effect, and the result is something undeniably fun to play.

Shadow Grounds

impulsegamer
1 September 2006
  • Excerpt: This is a neat game that despite having had a number of similarities with other games and movies, still manages to prove to be entertaining in its own right. Travelling through the galaxy to hotspots, it's your job to stop the impending invasion of alien bad guys before it is too late for the lovely planet Earth.
