Summary: The Good: It's Sam's best game, new look is good, recording your game is neat, crazy enemies, lots of weapons, varied environments The Bad: No story, repetitive mindless shooting, crappy weapon selection, stale environments, needs a complete overhaul I could never get into Serious Sam mainly because I didn't have the (at that time) powerhouse of a computer to run this strange FPS.
Instead of Serious Sam, it should be called Serious Scam.

Summary: After expecting to find a much upgraded game, it looks & feels just like the older version of Sam II, not only that but this game cannot be installed without signing up for a "Steam" account which is all B S to me, I don't like online play games, I don't like being forced to sign up for an account with some company just so they can try to sell me some crap, I will never buy anything from this company again, Croteam, you suck!
Summary: So I got this remember how it was several years back. And you know what? It's as good as ever. The small multitude of weapons and various enemies are always fun to blow into itty bitty bits. I forgot how hard the jump in difficulty was. No health regen, no peak and fire, just you, your guns, and things wanting to kill you. Lots and lots of them.
Summary: hd nomenclature and stupid title aside brings old game to new generation. I personally just downloaded cause it was free and a buddy recommended it. problems has no semblance to the original gameplay is altered slightly. some monsters look worse in this version the bulls are awful. also the original would run on anything including a netbook this requires a decent gaming machine. all in all maybe worth $10 if you have a fast download speed, steam is still bugs and bs.
Summary: I purchased this on Steam when they had a pre-order special on it. I haven't had a single issue getting it to work nor have I experienced any of the so-called bugs that people have been complainig about. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and using all the latest drivers from the Nvidia website for my motherboard and video cards.
Summary: I've been playing "Serious Sam: The Second Encounter" for about a week and a half now; one of my sister's friends thought it would be fun and so loaned it to me to give it a shot--no pun intended. I have mixed feelings about this game, which I will do my best to convey via a list of pros and cons. Here you go: PROS: 1. Excellent graphics--muscles actually move in the werebull, for example. 2. A variety of interesting weapons.
Summary: This game is just, well, my title describes it. I would like to know exactly what these Croatians were on and where I can get some. Imagine your most bizarre dream (or drug trip) and combine it with Quake. Yeah, Quake. This game really could have been made in 1996. Technically, it doesn't impress and could very well have been released as shareware. But hey, it's cheap. I'd buy it just to see the guy with the pumpkin on his head and the chainsaw.
