Summary: First of all, ya gotta be a Serious Sam fan to help you put up with the cheesy graphics, crude jokes and all them critters trying to kill you. Learning to shoot straight while advancing to the rear is a must. SOSS - same ol' Serious Sam. To the old fans I'll say this is the best SS game yet. Better puzzles, much better graphics but the same old familiar cheesiness. Love it.
Summary: Love the Serious Sam series. Have played all the games. Serious Sam Double D (2D, not 3D like the others) was pitiful compared to the others. Highly recommend Serious Sam BFG and the Jewel of the Nile ad-on pack.
Summary: I'm giving this game a five star rating based on what the game is trying to accomplish. It's a straight up shoot em' up that doesn't take itself too serious, no pun intended. That being said I understand this game isn't for everyone. The story line is forgettable and the characters aren't anything special, but the gameplay is really fun, fast, and smooth. I play this on an i5, 4gb ram, laptop and I've never had any frame rate or other visual issues.
Summary: This game is a blast to play and for the price...it can't be beat. I think this expansion was a little short, but still very fun. It was definitely harder in my opinion...they really threw everything they had at you on this one.
Summary: I've been FPS gaming since the first Doom and Heretic. It seems that now for a game to succeed, it has to push the envelope in every way. The new merging of FPS and RPG modes makes me long for the golden days of brainless fun. This game fills that void and then some. It's not really THAT brainless either. When your confronted by hoards of baddies, you need a strategy or your gonna get creamed. The graphics and background music blend perfectly.
