Summary: This PC game really entertains younger kids! Teenagers and adults might not enjoy it like Call of Duty, God of War, or Halo. Still, SS II does have great graphics better than SS 2nd Encounter. After you install this game, you still need the game disc to be able to play. At first, the game did not play smoothly. But, after updating it to version 2.070, it plays great on Vista and 7.
Summary: Really enjoyed this classic FPS. Hardcore gamers wont be disappointed. i highly recommend purchasing. Graphics are great, story-line is solid (and not so short) , audio is excellent and the price is right.
Summary: Unfortunately, this game got some bad early writeups because of a semi-weak demo released a couple weeks before the game itself. However, the new engine is great and smooth, and the new game is well true to the originals. Wide open space shootouts (loved in the originals) aren't quite as common due to the improved ability to handle more things on-screen in closer areas, but this game *rocks* no matter what.
Summary: With an ironic title like "Serious Sam," one expects a light-hearted adventure with few frills, and that's exactly what one gets. I play several games for PC, from many genres, and games like Serious Sam appeal to me when I want to see immediate action without over-wrought narrative cutscenes or RPG-style town travel. Serious Sam II just launches you into combat immediately with no wait, and the action is intense.
Summary: When the first Serious Sam was released it was great, very fun. The sequel was just as good if not better. This game while good isn't as good as the first two but still very fun if you want to shoot massive amounts of odd looking space creatures.
