Summary: If you liked the first Serious Sam, do not tarnish your memory of it with this game. It is clear that not enough time was dedicated to development because the game is riddled with glitches (and not fun, exploitable ones either). The game itself is nothing special, it does not do anything for the storyline if that is what you are interested in, and is mostly frustrating to play given all the issues the game has.
Summary: Ok the previous games were way better than this. They've kept the humor of the game but as for the game play itself, it was just flat out bad. I think what they did here was aimming this game at a younger audiance. The game desigeners made all the enemies look like they were cartoons like in one part; there these giant mechanical spiders that screem and shoot acid balls at you. Realy lame.
Summary: I like Serious sam 1.I bought this game Sarious Sam 2 and now have a lot of problems with it.It a true that the game have a wonderful graphics, i like this. But I do not know why I can not play this game without the CD in the CDRom. The game loading slow and always have BUG of erorr on the second level. I have a expensiv computer and problem is not in it.The problem is in the Game. This is original CD and original activatin cod.I realy do not know why i have this problems.
Summary: I really loved Second Encounter, so I persisted for several hours before uninstalling. The game has such a kiddy feel you find yourself looking for that purple dinosaur we all love to hate. Mood of the background music is just wrong, the cut-scenes are often distracting, and the level design is cramped compared to Second Encounter. My thanks to Croteam for their earlier work - never died so many times while laughing! But this...just gonna pass.
Summary: The first Serious Sam, which was called "Serious Sam, The Second Encounter," was a hoot because it was a first person shooter carried to a ludicrous extreme. You didn't have a dozen enemies, you had hundreds and in a few cases thousands. The arenas were huge, and looked pretty darn good. It was fast and intense, even if it was mostly overkill. The game play is much worse, every five seconds you stop with another conversation or a cut scene.
Summary: OK, I love first person shooters. This one looked good. Looked even better when I installed it. Looked like Crap 60 seconds into the first level because it crashed my computer. Every time I tried playing it, it would crash. Sigh, oh well. Uninstalled it, taped up the box and got my money back.
Summary: If you want the Serious Sam experience...buy "Second Encounter". This one...:"Sam 2" is a bunch of crap compared to anything previously done. What makes the Sam franchise unique and blissfull has been abandonded here. Really bad graphics in cut-scenes, loss of keen humour (it's toilet humor now), and simply un-enjoyable level design. It's clear that the folks who did the original two "Sam"s are gone. This is a twisted version of what you used to love. Avoid at all costs.
