Reviews and Problems with SATAZIUS

Showing 1-4 of 4
Overall 7

Satazius is a good way to scratch your shooter itch, but it won't win any awards for creativity.

19 December 2011
  • Summary: Developed by Astro Port, Satazius is the first of several planned indie games that Capcom is localizing and digitally distributing in North America. The game is proof that horizontal shooters don't require huge development teams and a massive budget to provide an intense experience.
  • Pros: Weapon customization makes for gameplay diversity, Large, challenging stages with multiple routes, Wide variety of environmental hazards
  • Cons: Not especially different from other, similar games

Ready Up
16 February 2013
  • Summary: Retro-style side-scrolling shooting at its finest with plenty of variety and challenge. If this was in an arcade, you would put way more than £4 into that machine so go buy this and enjoy!

  • Pros: Sweet mechanics and upgradeable weaponry, Excellent level design, Satisfying challenge
  • Cons: Incredibly derivative, Occasionally cheap, Won't entice initiates to the genre
