Excerpt: What is cooler than a Vampire? The answer is not bacon, but Werewolves. The origin of these mythical creatures varies from story to story. Conclusion: Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves is a brilliant game, peppered with original ideas, a unique setting, and an interesting premise. It is a clever amalgamation of asynchronous tower defense and synchronous brawling.
Summary: Artifice Studio’s newly-released Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves is, for lack of a better term, an action-strategy-roleplaying game about trying to defend a small community in the 19th century Canadian wilderness from invading wolf-creatures. Cons: Core combat is thin, Some unimpressive visual elements

Excerpt: From the screenshots, you might mistake Sang-froid: Tales of Werewolves for an action game. You can play it that way, but you’ll discover a not very good action game. You’ll get through a few early missions easily enough. But you’re Doing It Wrong. This isn’t an action game.
Conclusion: Sure, all of this is coupled with ropy animation, hammy voice-acting and primitive art, and there are times when the challenge presented is so steep and unforgiving that you'll be dumped back to the start of the day with little desire to take all that punishment again.
