Summary: Waste of time. Bought the digital copy. Took me 8 days of downloading just to get an error. Haven't been able to get around it. I have a friend who actually succeeded in downloading it on his PC so I tried it out and the gameplay sucks. DLC packs are unavailable. ...and to top it off anything you buy and download from Amazon.com is nonrefundable. Waste of money and a waste of a lot of time. My advice is buy it on a console.
Summary: The game is amazing, however the developers didn't know how to make a game, controls are weird and the performance is awful, with the game literally not being patched and the gameplay being sped up or just outright broken. It only gets 3 stars because of how great of a game is.
Summary: I recently bought this game along with a friend, even though the game is now 5 years old and there are two sequels. In comparison, the story and the activities are more engaging than the other saint's row games. There is plenty to do, and the game does not lack fun things to do outside of story missions. A less realistic approach makes the game more comical and fun, and less serious.
Summary: This game rocks, but the PC port was godawful. Half the time you can't hear sound effects right in front of you, but things to your side are loud. The cutscenes were incredibly glitchy as well. That said, it was worth $5.
Summary: Most people will hate on me for this, so I'll try to break it down. Pros: Funny minigames, adding humour and wackiness works well in a "straight man" world. Lots of guns, big map Character customization Lots of vehicles Cons: Yawn-worthy storyline, you gotta get your gang back together, blah, blah, blah. Muddy graphics trying to look "realistic" The "funny" comments can grate since they are repeated hundreds of times, or they are just not funny in any way.
Summary: for a game made in 2009 the graphics are dated, the controls are a bit to be desired, and well... the controller controls are missing some key things to beable to use to singlularly use the controller to play the game (like the botton to open doors...
