  • Summary: I waited few years before launching the sequel on purpose: to have a calm approach and possibly bug-free game. Unfortunately the whole production is a mistake, simply as that. Instead of fixing shortcomings of the first Sacred game, the sequel actually increases all of them beyond any measure.

  • Summary: A game that has so much of the base to make a brilliant game but turns it in to a big grind with an unappealing story and repetitive game play. Fans of ARPG will enjoy this.

  • Summary: This game freezes the majority of computers that play it, and there is no fix. Thank God I got it on humble bundle for 25 cents. I would not recommend this game unless you use Windows XP (and if you do, why do you?).

  • Summary: Sacred is an third person RPG. After few hours of play i already love it. There are various class to pick and a tutorial, a good interface with a button to take all the loot, voice quest, various types of potions, not only health-mana and you can explore houses; a huge map to explore with portals and alternating day-night. To move quickly from early levels you can buy a horse and if you lose Sacred is an third person RPG. After few hours of play i already love it.

GolovA, Metacritic
4 July 2012
  • Summary: Many critics have compared this to Diablo. NO! Under no circumstances this is Diablo or Diablo 2 (Diablo 3 is not really a diablo anyway). Sacred Gold tries hard to be like a fast-paced action based RPG. But it simply cannot keep up with the dynamic. It's really simple things like lagging after you press "attack" and the sword movement of your hero that pull this game down. I mean, Many critics have compared this to Diablo. NO!

don't do it

Gavin Cromhout, Amazon
25 January 2012
  • Summary: This is simply the most buggy game ever made. It is guaranteed to crash on you every half hour or so. The company that originally made the game tanked, and so it was released in a horrendous state that a slew of patches has been unable to rectify. The briefest search around any of the forums will show hundreds of users complaining about the instability of the game.

Fun for a diablo clone

M. Hall, Amazon
25 July 2011
  • Summary: Game is fun to play but abit unbalanced. Say your level 25 for instance and running down the road, and on one side of the raod is level 7 or 8 mmonsters and the other side has level 28 and 29 monsters. your like HUH! Some weapon abilities don't match what character you are, yet they are designated for the barbarian for instance. Good game for the price.
