Summary: A little frustrating if you are not a complete beginner but the rudimentary work is good for anyone. I have watched a friends progress. He is not musical in the least and he is getting there. best bang for the buck around!
Summary: This is a great way to learn to play guitar or bass, but may annoy some from being packaged in a "game". Navigation is not always intuitive and often things take much longer than they should. Background sound effects of people working, talking or applauding can be irritating.
Summary: Your forced to download Stream which is a time and space suck for a PC (requires 6g). I cant master the lag between my bass and the PC. Ive adjusted it all across the board and still nothing. The initial setup was a hassle. After finally getting it to load and play it was a lot of fun.
Summary: Awesome way to learn guitar. I've had zero issues with the software. The songs are presented in a fun way and adapts to your abilities. Setup was pretty easy. My one gripe is the song selection is not that great...there just aren't very many good songs on here.
It teaches you guitar quickly, but only if you want to impress friends...

Summary: I was surprised how in depth Rocksmith is. I am an avid piano player, but had never picked up a guitar before. I got this after my brother recommended it to me. After playing it for over 40 hours, I can say that yes Rocksmith can teach you to play guitar, but not in a "complete" way.
