Terrible installation, but not a terrible game, in fact it is a good game

Summary: most people would be upset by its lack of an offline non steam non uplay mode. the only reason i would want a DVD is to probably not be restricted in my installation of said program onto multiple PCs without restriction. The installation took over several hours because steam decided to download the full 7gb worth of the game from the net, i checked the DVD itself contains about 7gb of information.
Summary: The PC version has a bit of an issue with the USB interface compared to my old Rocksmith on Xbox, but I'm thinking that has more to do with my system powering my USB 2 interfaces. After cycling the interface to directly on the board instead of headers, and computer restart it works fine. The software itself is encouraging and entertaining. More so than the original Rocksmith.
Summary: many new features in rocksmith 2014 that make it better. first of all i dont think it will take you from beginner to knowing how to play the guitar in 60 days. it will make you better, faster by making you aware of fret and finger positions without looking. i like that you only have to retune tuning when you get out of standard e tuning. i like non-stop play the best, you get the whole song list and you can pick what you want.
PC Version: Incredible tool with just a few short-comings

Summary: This is my first experience with the Rocksmith brand and I have to say I'm really excited for what it is, what it's doing for my guitar playing, and what the future of the franchise holds. Before getting into a review of the game itself I want to point out a couple of concerns I have with the software. First off, the PC version of the game requires both a Steam account AND a UPlay account.
Summary: have only had for a week but i like it so far. the game adjusts you how you play each time. if you play a song perfect it makes it a little harder than the last time. if you play very bad it makes it easier and recommends simple exercises to help you. has a good track list of songs. there is also many you can download from the store also. i would have to recommend to anyone who wants to learn guitar but cant self teach.
Summary: It only works great with on-board sound cards (with low letency). I'd love to see it work with external sound cards for best sound and letency performance. Also I would like to see more songs varaity from 60' Rock and Blues. An iOS version would be great too!
