Not impressed, Not enough Servers and to much streaming with no need to..
14 December 2014
Summary: This product has great potential however it has really bad stuff in it. The servers are so slow that it took over 15 hours to load to begin with. The instructions for loading it were not correct. I had to set up like three accounts in the end to get it running.
Summary: Constantly registers my low E string as a half step high, even though it's tuned properly and shows as tuned properly in game. When playing any song I have to play that string one half step lower than it shows on screen or be penalized in game.
Rocksmith is awesome but the tuning in this version is miserable

Summary: I struggled like crazy with the tuning page! I played 2013 version quite a bit but I gave up on this one. When I only have 20 minutes to sit down and play around I don't want to spend the entire time in the tuning screen. I read a lot of tricks and tried them all without much success.
Summary: I would give it one star, except I know that if you can get it to work you'll enjoy it. But it doesn't work on my pc - the tuner does not work, and if it doesn't see you're in tune it won't work - and there is no support. Many, many people have the same issue I do, and we are all ignored.
When it works it is fine. It will not startup half the time

Summary: When it works it is fine. It will not startup half the time. It opens, gives some error, you can hear the game, but it does not display. Then randomly it works, and the randomly stops working. No changes to any settings. There is nothing online as to actually fix it either.
Summary: Years ago I used a typing tutor which streamed letters (and words) from right to left. At first it started slowly, but as my skill improved, it sped up faster and faster. Today I am a very good touch-typist (full handed, not hunt-and-peck).
Pros: I chose the one with the USB to ¼" jack cable, so it plugs into my guitars. The software supports guitar and bass. If you want to learn to pluck notes on your guitar (or bass) in response to colored chicklets on the screen, then this is the "game" for you.
Cons: I sincerely believe that it would be better to associate notes on the guitar with notes on a real music scale. That would be REALLY useful and extend beyond this program. This just comes across as a Wii game, like DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION. Honestly, I don't like it.
Summary: I've been playing guitar for 11 years and spend most of my time on acoustic guitar but I bought this game to increase my use and repertoire on electric guitar. It has accomplished that--to a point--but not without some major frustration: THE PROS: - You'll find a lot of creative games to teach basic...
Great sofware, kinda got ripped off on the PC Download price

Summary: First let me say I also own RS 2014 for PS3 so the software is great fun. No doubts or complaints there. But when I purchased the PC version to install on my laptop so I can go down in the basement, garage, or a friends house to play, I saw many versions online for under $25, but they required a...
Summary: This product may be advertised for beginners but it is not a god way for a beginner to learn the guitar. The progression for learning is way too fast and becomes discouraging. I would save my money and do some of the FREE lessons on YouTube.
