Summary: Fun all the way. A must buy for the adventerous players with some challenging puzzles. See how the 'parrot' transforms with every potion-hilarious. Loved all the different scenes. A bit short though.
Summary: Wow! What was the last seriously challenging game that also had you laughing? If you were lucky enough to play Plants Vs Zombies you will be familiar with a good belly laugh in the midst of a major challenge. For anyone that has stayed within adventure/HO genre though you may still be scratching your head thinking of even one. Welcome to Robinson Crusoe and the Cursed Pirates!
Summary: Okay, this game is funny sometimes and yes, it has lots of Minigames and Puzzles, but still it is only a shadow of the first game. What made sense there - the building of the ship in order to be able to escape - is not equaled by the story that you have to free a parrot who has been turned into an ape...:-( For me this game is follow-up, which is unfortunately not better than the first game.
Summary: I didn't have high expectations for this game, so wow was I blown away! This is a great game. Really well done graphics, music, fantastic art, with just all kinds of variety and a wonderful off-the-wall sense of humor! The cross-dressing pirate was a hoot! I love my mini-games and puzzles in a hog and imho I'm pretty good at them--so when I had to skip, yes skip!!! two mini-games I was not a happy pirate...
Summary: Most of tthis product is hard to see because my eyesight is poor. Also it is too dark to make out several of the objects. For those with better vision this might be okay although I would not recommend it
Summary: I liked the pirate concept and there was some great humor to be found in the scenes. But it became too repetitive and I found that I lost interest fairly early on. I found myself racing to get through the current puzzle in hopes there was something more engaging ahead. Not a bad game by any means, but after having played Dire Grove, this one fell just a bit flat.
Summary: SUPER game! Objects were well-hidden but not impossible to find, hints were effective. Game had a great flow, never left you with no idea what to do next. The challenges ranged from relatively simple to very puzzling, but you could always skip them after a short period if they were too hard. Great all-around game, I wish they were all this good!
