Summary: Never have I had this much fun being utterly clueless. For once, I get to use my own brain. Pay attention, think your eyebrows out and explore non stop. Markers on the map? Nope. Tips and clues? Nope. What about... Nope. Just nope. Have fun at it!
Summary: Risen is an entertaining and challenging game. I am still looking for stuff before entering the biggest city. The instructions encourage you to stay away from the most difficult "beasts" and get back later. That's great advice because difficult ones show up from early in the story. Fun to play game...
Fantasic. 174 hours in and only half way exploring. Love it!

Summary: Fantastic. 174 hours in and I'm only half done. The game is extremely immersive. So much to explore, and so pretty everywhere, especially the water while swimming. It's typical wry humor style of the Gothic series, and way better than Gothic 2. I've had zero issues with it. I leave it running for hours with no problems at all. So many quests to do. I got it from Steam so I could gather achievements. Now my wife and my best friend are playing their own copies.
Summary: Steam key for the product is region-locked by the publisher, but there is no clue about it on the product page. I'm now with a useless key because of my local IP is not accepted by local Steam for activating this product. I feel misleaded by both Amazon and Deep Silver.
Summary: This is a game very much like gothic series. I in particular remember Gothic II on PC. combat was just about as simplistic. Attack + w attack forward and if you were skilled up to 60% you could continue a 3 move combo by timely pressing W. otherwise you got quick attack from side to side like you were shoveling and attack + S would be unpenetrable block from mele regardless of opponents strength. Yes if you were good enough you could kill black troll with a rapier.
Summary: I just got done beating the game today. Played it off and on for a couple of weeks. First off, don't believe the dip s*** noobs bashing this game saying that there are bugs and the combat system is broken. I experienced zero glitches or crashes of any kind and there was nothing wrong with the combat system. I was able to pull of 5+ hit combos and parry accordingly once the skills have been acquired on the PC even no less. These games keep getting better and better.
Summary: First off I have to say that I have played all the Gothic games (except for the horrible last one when piranha bites sold the rites to a diff company) and the first two Risen games, so I feel pretty knowledgeable about these games. I am going to give a very in depth review of this one and will talk about the good and bad (I will also come back later and update is, as I play some of the other factions). So first off the mages are back in this one, which is great.
Summary: If this game had been released in 2003 it would have been amazing. The story is good so far and I love the faction bonuses/abilities you get by joining them. (Actually only played the Demon Hunters so far so I can't comment on the other factions). I particularly don't like RPGs that allow you to "reset" your character i.e. K of Amalur and Dark Souls II. I haven't gotten very far in the If this game had been released in 2003 it would have been amazing.
Summary: The game is awful !!! It is so repetitive, buggy ass release and with it's extreme repetitiveness it is one of the worst rpg's I played on the ps3.Just like Risen and Risen 2 the game is just an extreme big cash in.It is awful and please do not buy it.And graphics...
