Summary: The first game is much more interesting. This one just doesn't bring the same feel to it that the first game did. That being said it's a fairly solid title. Worth picking up if you see it on sale for cheap.
Good Game, But Piranha 'Bytes' More Than They Can Chew

Summary: As a long time Gamer who still hail Gothic 1 and 2 as two of the very best Action RPGs ever made, and who was happy to see PB (Piranha Bytes) took wings and rose once again from the Gothic 3 ashes with Risen 1, I really look forward to Risen 2.
Summary: Implement the dodge mechanic you brought to the pc version, fix the stun-lock that a number of enemies can keep you in when in groups, implement a longer cool down for enemy's ranged attacks and you will truly have a stellar game, easily deserving of a solid score.
Summary: Risen 2 is a good game. The name should have been changed, because it has nothing to do with Risen. The pirate theme was a very good choice and was executed decently, which in honesty sums up the game
Summary: Risen 2 is not a completely terrible game, it does seem very low quality though. For what it's supposed to be shown off as it's supposed to be a pirate RPG.. not really so. It's more so an RPG - with "pirates". There isn't much pirating - in fact you spend all of your time in this game on land....
Summary: "Risen 2: Dark Water," is an RPG in 3rd person, developed by German company Piranha Bites and produced by Deepsilver, and following the RPG "Risen" 2009. The game's story follows the trajectory of the unnamed protagonist of the first game, that after the events of this, is allied to the soldiers of...
Summary: Ok, so when I sit down to play a Pirahna Byte (PB) game (which I've been doing since Gothic), there are certain things I know to expect and not to expect. I expect a good story, engaging characters, lush, vibrant, cheesy, outdated graphics, caves everywhere, and lots of character/class choices with...
Summary: This is a game that I really wanted to love because there aren't many pirate RPGs out there and I love RPGs, I love pirates, and I love most of PB's previous work. All the premises were there, damn it!
Summary: This game was decent at best. The character and model animations were clunky and outdated, and the combat system was mediocre at best. Playing through the story felt more like a chore than anything else. Other than that, I really liked the game.
