Summary: from my steam acc: Rise of the Argonauts Review General Score : 9/10 Worth playing ? : Yes Replay value : Yes, but not for me. Be warned that I played the whole game using a gamepad, and I do not consider any other way to play such games if not with an xbox controller or game pad.
Summary: Really interesting game, if only for the progression mechanics. You dedicate feats to the a god and gain skill in that god's skill tree. Very well planned and implemented. The story is interesting if a little predictable.
Summary: Great voice acting. Meaningful conversations which produce semi-accurate to accurate glimpses of Greek mythology. Graphics are high quality for the time and better than a lot of games produced now. The game is quite linear when moving but that is common to this style of game.
Summary: This game was ahead of its time. Critics seemed to have taken the high production values for granted. This is an epic tale worth exploring for the story alone. The artwork is amazing. Very few bugs. Great voice acting.
Summary: There's nothing particularly wrong with this game, other than some graphical hiccups, but there is nothing in this game that hasn't already been done better in other games, even back in 2008. Play God of War to see this concept done better.
Summary: Even with the problems that I ran in to once you start playing from where it stopped it doesn't happen again so I would say buy it.Its worth the money I'm playing it on XP and useing a ghraphic card Radeon HD 4650
Pros: the story line is great so are the graphics its a really nice game to play
Cons: I have found three problems once the game froze had reset the pc and two errors sorry we need to close.
Summary: Certainly not the greatest game in the world, but it's still darn good for $5.99.
Pros: Great story, good dialog system. This can be accurately described as a low budget Mass Effect in ancient Greece. It's a shame the budget was so low, as this really could have been a fantastic game. Normally I would give it 4 eggs, but as it's only $5.99, I can't be too critical of it.
Cons: The animations are pretty bad, characters don't move during dialog. All of the women have the same face.
Summary: Shame on you Codemasters for releasing a game like this unfinished and unpolished. If your planning on getting this game I'd buy it for the console, although I didn't hear any good news from the console realm about this game either, but it seems more stable than running it on a computer.
Pros: The games graphical interface is very good, storyline is somewhat ok for a mythology game, and the game keeps you immersed in dialogue. Very good character animation, sequences, fighting, cool lightning affects and PC box.
Cons: Horrible bugs, simply horrible!! The worst I've seen since the dawn of Windows Millenium. This game will crash to desktop like you had never seen before right before your eyes. Most of these bugs are in caused by talking with NPC'S, and strangely happen between 30 - 55 minutes of gameplay. Codema...
Summary: Well, I have not yet finished this game, but it has been a very enjoyable game from my perspective. I'm not a huge RPG fan, but this game hits a nice balance between just enough RPG and Action to keep me hooked.
Summary: It's neighter a God of War nor any other RPGs. This is something like a movie whose director is just you. You make your own choices, you make your own history, you make your own story, you choose and follow your own fate. This game is absolutely fantastic.
