Summary: Fans of the series may be looking for another zombie horror game to add to the collection, this is not it. It is however an adrenaline pumping zombie slaying 3rd person shooter! I LOVE this game! You are part of 4 person squad hired by Umbrella to eliminate any evidence of their involvement in the Raccoon City Incident. The campaign is pretty short (about 6 hours) but I’m playing through again with a different squad on hard mode. Playing co-op online is awesome!!
Summary: Resident Evil Raccoon City. I have a Xbox 360 and played it On the PC, it seems to play well from the DVD install and off Steam, it doesnt play at all I tried many workarounds with the Steam version, all didnt work, so I copied game files from the DVD install folder to the steam game folder and it works, just dont do the file check, if you do then just recopy from dvd to steam folders again. And yes, the game can launch from steam and connects to xbox live.
Summary: The gameplay is ok at best. This game does not follow the tradition of the Resident Evil Series, and takes an approach at at 3rd Person Shooter that mixes in a little bit of a RPG element. For a first attempt at this in the series I think they did a good job, and if they continue this off-spin, I think this has the potential to be the new face of the series.
Summary: Another resident evil spin-off attempt. Fun if you don't take the series too seriously. I enjoyed it most when I abandoned the fact that it was a Resident Evil game, and just took it for an anti-hero squad-based third-person shooter with monsters and stuff.
Summary: this game is closer to call of duty, constantly dieing and looking for ammo and make sure you have a first aid and anti-infection spray at all times. large variety of guns, but they all have basically the same power. the best gun i found was a grenade launcher (10 shots and it takes 4 to kill a hunter) and you can only carry 2 guns one being a pistol and one first aid spray and a bunch of grenades. bots get in the way a lot, have bad aim and die constantly.
Summary: All in all I must say that this is a fun game. It is not your traditional resident evil game, it is much more modernized and fast paced with several firefights. But the way to look at is is a new view on the series to see what it would be like if we could go through Raccoon City at a faster pace than the survival horror game styles of RE2 and RE3 (which i loved). The graphics look great and the controls were easy enough to get the hang of.
