Summary: Finally, a psychological horror HOG. Redrum: Time Lies is a sequel from the previous one, Redrum (Redrum: Dead Diary?) and if you played this one first, you might get confused of its storyline. Rose's uncle found out that Dr. Fraud has been released (from asylum? I forgot) and he needs to make sure his niece is safe. I haven't played the first one yet. Graphics are good--not gorgeous, just perfect for a horror game.
Summary: Very nice game! Graphics were great. Very creepy music & sound choices. Effects and animation were all very good. Very spooky eerie theme. The developers & artists who made this were either very mentally disturbed or sick LOL! Crazy disturbing scenes! Gameplay was fun. It had combination of searching for items from lists & inventories. Story was of course interesting because it was really creepy and I liked it.
Summary: This one is definitely NOT for the faint of heart! But if you like to be scared, like to look at disturbing images and love movies like "Seven" and "House on Haunted Hill", then I believe that you will enjoy this one as much as I did!! >;)~ Enjoy!!
Summary: I bought this most peculiar game because it was a "5 star games on sale" special. I didn't think it rated that high, but is certainly original in concept and execution. Creepy and truly twisted in its own capitvating way, must say I have never seen artwork quite like it. Various types of HO hunts (lists, images) which were mostly fun, but some blob hunting and hints in short supply.
Summary: Twisted, grotesque, in poor taste and INCREDIBLY fun! I had a grand time. The game was diverse, not brain-draining, and pretty in its horrid way...now I'm anxiously awaiting for the next part! I'm not usually so ghoulish but after a minute I found myself just doing what the game requested and overlooked the gruesome content.
Summary: I bought this game because of the graphics, content and storyline. The puzzles were ok at the beginning, but then started to get really tedious, especially towards the ending. The ending puzzles were all exactly the same kind - very tiresome. And then there was the ending. Major letdown. If they had given this game a proper ending, and included more different puzzles, I would have given it a better rating. Also, the game is really short.
Summary: I loved this game especially because of the more mature content. Its nice to have a change of theme from the usually cutesy characters. I played the original Redrum and this one followed right along in its quality. I played the game almost straight through as well because I was so caught up in the story. The mini-puzzles are very repetitive however. Mostly jig-saw and shifting the squares in the correct place.
Summary: I am So disappointed in this sequel. The storyline lacked just about everything,The graphics were fair at best and the puzzles were ordinary. You spend all your time running from room to room and back to the same rooms over and over again. By the time I got whatever tool I needed, I had already forgot where it went. Spent a lot of time trying to find correct items just to open the doors to play. Two thumbs down.
Summary: I love this game. The graphics are awesome and the game is just challenging enough to be hard to play and yet easy enough you don't have to keep running to the walkthrough to get through it. I do suggest you check out the walkthrough though to find out about how to get extra hints and tips concerning the raven and butterflies.
