  • Conclusion: Really Big Sky fully embraces the spirit of space-based bullet hell with its numerous enemies, large bosses, unlockable game modes, and four-player co-op. Anyone who loves old-school arcade space shooters like Gradius and R-Type will enjoy this love letter to the genre.

  • Excerpt: Late last year, developer Boss Baddie released Big Sky into the wild, an initially confusing space shooter that, through progression, trial and error, showed its true, magnificent colours.
  • Pros: Lots of game modes. Randomly generated levels offer tons of replay value. Building up your ship’s powers feels wonderful.
