Summary: Parents, This game is a MATURE GAME! RATED M! BLOOD, GORE, INTENSE VIOLENCE, AND SWEARING ARE ALL IN THIS GAME! This game is just awesome for the most part. Your given a wide range of powers and abilities. You can easily run up walls, glide through the air, kill people with ease, drive vehicles like tanks and helicopters, and change your appearance at will when you consume them. Consuming them is absorbing them into your body.
Summary: It has the potential to be one of the best games. But the control system is not very well thought out. In addition there could be lags during game play, buggy. Otherwise good storyline, like the free-roam in the sand box game environment, it really is quite cool. Some good ideas on consuming and morphing and attacks.
Summary: Firstly, this is a great port as far as functioning well. Works with the Xbox 360 controller for windows, you'll get on-screen display for the buttons. Vsync is listed as an option in the video settings. What you can kill: 1. Civilians: Pedestrians 2. Military: Soldiers, Super-Soldiers, Tanks, & Helicopters 3. Infected Zombie Creatures: Infected zombies (weaklings), Hunters (big zombies), Hydras (ground tentacles, somewhat rare), Supreme Commanders (only 2!
Summary: Pros: -fast paced game play -customizable powers and abilities -easy to understand upgrade tree -the story is pretty good Cons: -the game is still buggy, just wait a while before buying -not original to me -monotone voice acting Conclusion: The game is pretty cool to those who have not already invested money and time into Spider Man 2.
Summary: Before anything else, let me just say this game is amazing! form the graphics to the gameplay everything is fantastic. The only problem as far as i can tell (which is why i only gave it 3 stars)is tbat there's a major glitch that'll slow it to a crawl unless you disable some of your Human Interface Devices and unplug your mouse and replug it in as you start it. As long as you remember to do that, the game runs great.
Summary: This game is big and immersive, and worth playing. However, the unfulfilled potential of the game makes me sad. To keep the word count down, I'm only including my criticisms, but realize that I did like the game. (This review includes no story spoilers.) Prototype should have been the next Grand Theft Auto, a worthy successor to the sandbox game format.
Summary: Like the game but with no sound it's a pain. Maybe when a patch comes out I'll be able to fully enjoy the game. I got it and beat the game Thursday and beat it by Sunday, so it's a little short. Maybe I'll play through again when tha patch comes, it'd be like getting a new game.
Summary: I would definitely give this game five stars if not for a sound issue. At first I wasn't getting any sound at all, and I after trying any number of things to fix this problem, I finally found a solution by deactivating all non-primary sound devices in Device Manager. Then, even when sound was working, sound during the numerous plot cut scenes were choppy to the point of my not being able to understand anything that was said.
