    Prototype easily stomps over numerous boring movie-based action games we've seen lately and effectively covers all the necessary themes to engulf gamers in a relatively interesting horror/sci-fi story. It may lack somewhat in the visuals department, which didn't matter much from where we were standing. Despite some of its downsides, this is still one of the better action games we've played this year. Read more

    Overall, Prototype sways between a pretty interesting open world super hero game and a mediocre adventure, one that is a bit too challenging at first and filled with cliché missions like escort ones or chase sequences. If you like adventure titles and want to create havoc in an enemy-infested Manhattan, then Prototype is something you might want to try.     Difficulty Spikes: One minute you're cruising around, kicking ass and taking identities; the next you're reloading the last checkpoint for the fourth time, cursing at the television screen.     This game is awsome! I mean Ive played plenty of sandbox games but this reminds me of Hulk: Ulitmate destruction meets Assissan Creed meets Crackdown! Great game! Ive barley tapped into it but already can tell this is going to be a hell of a ride!!!! A lot of upgrades to Alex (the character you play as) as far as new moves and powers!     Firstly, this is a great port as far as functioning well. Works with the Xbox 360 controller for windows, you'll get on-screen display for the buttons.     System Specs... AMD Phenom X4 9950, 4 Gb. Kingston HyperX DDR2, XFX Geforce 9800GTX+, 22" 1080p Acer Monitor. Windows 7 Home Premium, Xbox 360 Wireless Controller and Wireless Access point.     Fun: This review is from: Prototype (PC DVD) (Computer Game) OH MY DAYZ BLOOD! this has got to be the game of my dreams. Ive only 4 stared it because of the lack of graphics but i think theyve done that because its such a fast paced game and so much can be happening at one time that your PC would explode from the epicness that is 'PROTOTYPE!'
