  • Excerpt: I haven't finished it but it's a great game! I Enjoy every second of it! The graphics are great, if not a little slugish in 32bit mode but maybe that's my computer! Are there any mods or new maps for it? I think i must start playing it a bit more. MY favourite mission so far is the 'GOD' one which is great fun to be a sniper. Head shot! The effects are really good with the bullets and things like that.
  • Cons: "Not addictive"

  • Excerpt: Project IGI A special ops officer sent out to do special missions in secret. You may think that this is a little boring and unoriginal but then you play the game and you see the detailing, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) of the sprites that are wondering around with AK47’s and Globonov’s (Russian sniper rifle). The AI is great. -Levels- The design of the 10 levels is quite good. I found only one major bug and one minor bug.

  • Excerpt: Set in Russia, you must perform a black ops mission to return a stolen nuclear weapon to the US, preventing a small armageddon. The physics engine is incredibly good. Not the average FPS engine. Then again, it isn't. Interloop have used a heavily modified flight sim engine in order for large rolling landscapes to become a reality in an FPS. It can tell the difference between wood and concrete, with bullets shredding the former and being halted by the latter.
  • Cons: "No multiplayer"

  • Excerpt: This has got to be one of the best all round first person shoot 'em ups of all time. It has gung ho action mixed with stealth and planning. The first level gives you the insight into the whole of the game. Don't just run out shouting, screaming and shooting all and sundry...well not if you want to complete even this level. Throughout the game you feel genuine pressure to succeed, let's be honest your life - and others - depend on it.

  • Excerpt: This is of course the best shooting game i have ever played on the PC. It has great graphics and great game play. The storyline is good too and the blood looks realistic :) But there is also a choice to turn the blood off which is good for parents if they want their children to play without the blood. The guns that you get are all good although there should be more.

  • Excerpt: Project IGI is probably on of the best FPS games on the market, I can say that it is very close to, but not better than the best which if Half-life. This game puts you into some very detailed environments with real weapons (mini mi is the best). The sounds of the weapons are excellent and the AI of the enemy is quite good, as usually the enemy are quite dumb. One of the most important things is that the hero is actually British, which is a reason to buy it.

  • Excerpt: Played all the other FPS/RPG games?, well now there’s a new kid on the block from Eidos! Project I.G.I is a fantastic FPS/RPG, which will have you, amazed at its graphics, sounds & animations. The AI for the Bad Guys is also a step ahead of the rest & I personally think it puts Half-Life to shame! Just for a change, the hero’s British…well okay….Welsh to be exact, but he still gets the job done each time.

  • Excerpt: Project IGI is the new shoot em up on the PC its another one of those games like Medal of Honor or James Bond on the N64. So what's wrong with mindless killing? Personally I was always happy enough running around a sewer with the screams of the undead ringing in my ears, maiming other victims with a mini gun. I have no need for plots or storylines or characters. They’re just unnecessary. Or, for that matter, the boredom of ‘first person thinker shooters’.

  • Excerpt: I will get all the superlatives out of the way now: Great, Amazing, Addictive, and Stunning. Now on to the review. The game comes in a very handy DVD style box, I love these boxes they are nice and flat and can be stored on the shelf like books for the same amount of space as 3 or 4 of the older style cardboard sleeves/boxes. The only problem that I have found with this box, is that it is a mistake to leave them to near a radiator.

  • Excerpt: The first person shoot'em up has started to metamorphose into a varied and multi headed behemoth. Where previously most first person shooters involved mindlessly running around and shooting every thing that moved. Games like Thief and Deus Ex changed the emphasis away from this and brought in the elements of stealth and cunning. Project IGI although not as radical as the fore mentioned game strikes a fine balance between the stealth em up and the shoot up.
