Excerpt: "Project IGI, quality game and very cheap. You play as David Jones from IGI taking on a variety of missions and levels, from planting bombs on enemy tanks and fuel dumps, to excaping from snowy Russian mountains when your helicopter was shot down. Think, stealth mixed with gunhoe madness in one. "Think your way in shoot your way out." This game is for any standard as at the first few levels are easy and they quickly get harder. The game ...
Excerpt: "Set in the modern day with maps in snow, mountains and desert terrain this game has a good mix of missions. With a convincing storyline backed up by good cinematic clips in between missions. It leaves your always wanting to complete the next level to get ever closer to the elusive 'EKK'. The maps are simply immense as no terrain is unreachable and the physical maps go on forever. In this game you will never reach so called 'out of bounds' (as once ...
Pros: Excellent gameplay/Playablity
Cons: Some graphics glitches, None of your friends will ever of heard of it
Summary: I haven't finished it but it's a great game! I Enjoy every second of it! The graphics are great, if not a little slugish in 32bit mode but maybe that's my computer! Are there any mods or new maps for it? I think i must start playing it a bit more. MY favourite mission so far is the 'GOD' one which is great fun to be a sniper. Head shot! The effects are really good with the bullets and things like that.
Pros: Good Sound, Amazing Graphics, Effects
Cons: Dumb AI, Movies dissapointing, Not addictive
Summary: Project IGI A special ops officer sent out to do special missions in secret. You may think that this is a little boring and unoriginal but then you play the game and you see the detailing, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) of the sprites that are wondering around with AK47’s and Globonov’s (Russian sniper rifle). The AI is great. -Levels- The design of the 10 levels is quite good. I found only one major bug and one minor bug.
Pros: Graphics, Artifcial Intelligence, Detail
Cons: Needs a Good computer to run the game, No multiplayer option
Excerpt: "...just bought one. I've just bought Project IGI and have played it non-stop. Having been a devoted fan of the Rainbow Six series, for a while now, I was just dying to get more action! Unfortunately the next Rainbow 6 game doesn't come out until October, so I just had to buy something to fit in as a snack! Project IGI is more than a snack, it's a meal! This game has got a rather interesting story compared to some other action games. Like many action ...
Pros: Good weapons, sounds and graphics . Interesting game - play
Cons: The soldiers don't always react to your gunfire or the sight of someone being shot next to them .
Summary: Set in Russia, you must perform a black ops mission to return a stolen nuclear weapon to the US, preventing a small armageddon. The physics engine is incredibly good. Not the average FPS engine. Then again, it isn't. Interloop have used a heavily modified flight sim engine in order for large rolling landscapes to become a reality in an FPS. It can tell the difference between wood and concrete, with bullets shredding the former and being halted by the latter.
Pros: Maps are beautiful, Good weapons, Tense Gameplay
Cons: Lack of Drivable Vehicles, Lack of Mid-Mission save may annoy some., No multiplayer
Summary: This has got to be one of the best all round first person shoot 'em ups of all time. It has gung ho action mixed with stealth and planning. The first level gives you the insight into the whole of the game. Don't just run out shouting, screaming and shooting all and sundry...well not if you want to complete even this level. Throughout the game you feel genuine pressure to succeed, let's be honest your life - and others - depend on it.
Pros: Depth, Excellent sound, challenging
Cons: very difficult at times, pace not to everybody's liking
Project IGI (PC): The best shooting game i have ever played
31 May 2001
Summary: This is of course the best shooting game i have ever played on the PC. It has great graphics and great game play. The storyline is good too and the blood looks realistic :) But there is also a choice to turn the blood off which is good for parents if they want their children to play without the blood. The guns that you get are all good although there should be more.
Summary: Project IGI is probably on of the best FPS games on the market, I can say that it is very close to, but not better than the best which if Half-life. This game puts you into some very detailed environments with real weapons (mini mi is the best). The sounds of the weapons are excellent and the AI of the enemy is quite good, as usually the enemy are quite dumb. One of the most important things is that the hero is actually British, which is a reason to buy it.
Excerpt: "This has to be the best, most realistic, playable FPS/RPG game ever. Brought to us by Eidos and Innerloop studios, it feel's like the real thing. In the game you play an ex- SAS welshman, David Llywelln-Jones, against the soviet world! The game is a mix of strategy and shoot-em-up, described as 'sneak your way in, shoot your way out'. The game boasts being apparently 'TESTED BY THE ARMY' and it cerainly feels real! In the game there is a plethora ...
