A messy if well presented game

  • Excerpt: Project I.G.I. is a game notorious for being incredibly difficult and almost entirely inaccessible to the casual gamer. I bought this game when I hadn't been an FPS gamer long, back in 2000, and became infuriated with it rather quickly - it's one of the hardest games I've ever played (perhaps even moreso than the later stages of Ninja Gaiden), and many years later I still couldn't be bothered to persevere with it.

Buy IGI 2 instead

  • Excerpt: A nuclear warhead has been stolen and it is up to you, David Jones, as part of IGI to find information on it from Josef Priboi. Sounds simple no? It gets more complicated. A member of the Priboi family is involved as is betrayal along with your mission to find the warhead. IGI is meant to be a stealth game and more often than not you will use stealth to complete the missions however there are times when you can run, shooting like a maniac and complete the mission.

  • Excerpt: Once the thrill of being able to pick off an enemy from a mile away is gone, what's left is a shallow, outdated game. The premise is so wispy it hardly bears mentioning: you're on the trail of a terrorist group that may or may not possess nuclear weapons, and you work for an anti-terrorist group that can apparently afford to equip you with only a knife. Mayhem ensues.

  • Excerpt: What a curious title. Going where, exactly? To sum up this game blatantly: IGI tries too hard, and fails miserably. It has been said that IGI is a combination of the reverred Goldeneye (N64), the mighty Half-Life, and the _______ (fill in the blank) Delta Force. I have to be honest here... it is all of those things, and it is none of them simultaneously.

Nie mehr Baller-Games!

DarBurger, Ciao
19 August 2003
  • Summary: Project IGI Project IGI ist von Eidos, die Firma vertreibt auch Tomb-Raider und das ähnliche Spiel „Hitman“.
  • Pros: günstiger Preis / stürzt nicht ab (Win ME)
  • Cons: Grafik, Story, Programmierung

Vorsicht beim Kauf

20 February 2001
  • Summary: Der Ego-Shooter auf Militärniveau hat ein Riesenmanko.

  • Cons: Zu teuer, Grafikfehler, schlechte künstliche Intelligenz
