They should have stuck with FPS with Postal III

William G. Pursell, Sr. "Lone Ranger", Amazon

  • Summary: After finding out that Postal III was third person instead of first person,It made my finding out if Postal 2 could be played on a Windows 7 system very important indeed. Having found that comment by an RWS administrator (see comment on "The Fudge Pack),and what he'd said about the DRM problem, and that the Fudge pack Didn't have that problem,I bought a Fudge Pack thru Amazon. And IT'S TRUE. The Fudge Pack, thank GOD,works with Windows 7.

OK story/game

Shawn Ryan, Amazon
5 September 2013
  • Summary: Gameplay still very buggy, but save often and you'll have a decent enough time to play through what was meant to be seen. Not for the weak of stomach, patience, or anything else really!

One of the worst game I have ever played. This game is unfinished!

Richard Baker "BinaryMessiah", Amazon
27 December 2012
  • Summary: The Good: Its gory, you can pee on things The Bad: Extremely dated visuals with slowdown and bugs galore, potty humor that is somehow unfunny, broken movement, poor hit detection, lame weapons, same formula repeated over and over again, why bother? Man where do I start. From a movie directed by the anti-Christ of video game movies to a game series that just refuses to improve on itself (whether on purpose or not is a mystery), Postal is just one terrible game series.

What Happened?

Pretzel, Amazon
6 December 2012
  • Summary: Seriously, Postal 2 was a work of sick art. It was fun, gory, and totally out of control. Then Postal 3 comes along and... WHAT? Horrible AI, pathetic gameplay, bugs everywhere. I couldn't even finish the game as about halfway through there was an area with a bug that crashed the game EVERY time you tried to walk through a hallway. The enemies would sometimes literally stand and look at you while you walked behind them and ignored you while you shot them.

Postal 3 Review - Duke Nukem Forever's Aborted Child

Alex Martinet, Amazon
2 April 2012
  • Summary: The Postal Series has been around for awhile now. Starting off with the original Postal game in 1997, it was a gritty, intelligent and funny, which made it one of the most unique IP on the market. Eight years later after Postal 2, the postal series has finally returned to conclude the trilogy. What could have been a great game is instantly turned it into a cosmic mess with no clear direction, outdated controller and horrible game design.

Chap, Metacritic
31 January 2012
  • Summary: Postal 3's script makes topical jokes that might have been funny 2-3 years ago (Sarah Palin, War on Terror blah blah) but are now NOT FUNNY. Even the potential comedy of killing Uwe Boll is delivered in a lame ass way. Total Crap.

Meh.... Sadly comparable to Duke Nukem Forever

EvilxMunkee, Amazon
30 January 2012
  • Summary: Well to start out, I really, really loved postal 2. This compared is a sad sad attempt. First I loved the open environment of postal 2, this has done away with it... Which is okay.... At times, but the game is unresponsive, and full of glitches. Hopefullymupdates will influence this game to be more open ended... But we will see I would recommend not buying it until it has dropped down to 5 or 10 bucks...

Mr_Giggles901, Metacritic
27 January 2012
  • Summary: There is a reason Postal 2 is a cult game and Postal 3 will never be. Postal 2 had a sense of humor to be shared with the worst South Park episodes. Postal 2 had it's bugs and crashes were to be expected. Postal 2 had a confusing map and annoying load zones. Then again Postal 2 was made in 2003. That's a good 9 years ago that the game dropped and 9 years ago flaws like that were more acceptable.
