Summary: One of the best games of the last generation. If you like games and puzzles, this is most definitely for you. Just sick of typical games and want something different? Try this. I cant say enough good stuff about this game. The puzzles are genius. The story is exceptional. Its funny and has excellent graphics.
Summary: Unlike the first title in the series, Portal 2 is a much more complete game, with an expansive story and even better gameplay. More is revealed about the mysterious, unethical Aperture Science Laboratories as you play, and there's even more if you look for it. And there's the humorous dialogue, of course. The additional feature of being able to create your own puzzles for other people to solve adds tons of replay value to it, too!
Summary: This one deserves all the great reviews I've seen. It will produce hours of game play without boring you to death with the same old "puzzles". The basic "ideas" are the same throughout but need to be utilized in a constantly changing environment that's guaranteed to keep your attention. The best game of this genre since the Myst series.
Summary: I'm not a huge gamer so I can't compare this to some of the most popular ones. I started gaming with Myst and it's sequals, and continued with the adventure genre. I loved Portal and now Portal 2 – great adventure, puzzle, humor, graphics and sound, and a superb concept with exceptional physics.
Summary: It was a present for a 15 yr old boy. He loved it. I haven't seen it but the premise sounds awesome: world reality jumping through a portal. Not sure if that also includes time jumping. At any rate, looks cool and he loved it.
