Summary: I'm not a huge gamer so I can't compare this to some of the most popular ones. I started gaming with Myst and it's sequals, and continued with the adventure genre. I loved Portal and now Portal 2 – great adventure, puzzle, humor, graphics and sound, and a superb concept with exceptional physics.
Summary: It was a present for a 15 yr old boy. He loved it. I haven't seen it but the premise sounds awesome: world reality jumping through a portal. Not sure if that also includes time jumping. At any rate, looks cool and he loved it.
Summary: Now, this is one of the best games you will probably ever find. However, before you buy this I must warn you that you must install Steam (a game client I love using) to play it. However, the version of Steam on the DVD has a bug that makes it so it can't update. Do not install Steam from the disc. Instead, go to [...] and download Steam for free. Then use the key included in the Portal 2 case to download and install the game.
Summary: I love this game, it's extremely fun and contains endless hours of fun because of the co-op modes and online workshop levels. However, it has been out for a number of years and could be found cheaper at a gaming store.
Summary: An excellent story line and highly innovative gameplay mechanic, Portal 2 builds on the original game and then some. I found the overall difficulty of the game slightly more challenging than the original; however, the game is not extremely difficult and should be within reach of most players. Hope they make a Portal 3!
Summary: This is a game that you can play on and off, you don't have to play it every day to keep in going. It does not care if you don't play for 6 months, it just picks up right where it left off. The other cool thing is that int eh early stages, there are a number of clues to let you know what the idea is that you are trying to accomplish.
