Summary: There’s enough here to keep aspiring vets or fans of Australia’s diverse animal kingdom busy for quite some time, with several upgrades to their practice and nursing cuddly animals back to full health as good motivation. However, the bland environments and slow pace of the game make this more tedious of an exercise than it needs to be, and the gameplay itself is too basic to overcome this long-term.
Pros: Lots of illnesses to treat, with basic needs that must be met for long-term care., Cuts out much of the pointless personal care that prior installments had, as well as some of the tedium by adding in enhancements like the ability to call it a day early., The animals themselves look great, which is important to younger gamers that will want this for the cute animals.
Cons: Only six different animals to treat., The game throws the player into each new environment with nothing more than a basic, static map. In environments this bland, this can be confusing at first., Aside from the animals, the graphics are anywhere from basic (the UI, humans and buildings) to terrible (eucalyptus forest).
