Party of Sin Review

4 March 2013
  • Summary: I mentioned Trine a lot in my review simply because the two games are so similar. I couldn’t stop thinking about it while playing Party of Sin. However, while Trine is a beautiful game with great combat and a more traditional approach, Party of Sin does try to push the boat out a tad, saving it from being branded as a rip-off of any sort.

Party of Sin

Hooked Gamers
7 January 2013
  • Conclusion: Party of Sin tries to be a decent title, but it just lacks a bit of polish. Actually, it lacks a lot of polish. With upgraded visuals and better controls and some adjustments to the dull combat system, the game could have been really good. For the most part, I found the puzzles enjoyable, requiring the use of multiple characters to performs their part in order to solve the puzzle.
  • Pros: Puzzles require the use of multiple characters, so you are obliged to try out all the Sins
  • Cons: Visually dated. Controls are sluggish. Combat is too easy.

Party of Sin review (PC)

16 December 2012
  • Excerpt: is the weakest link, albeit a solid effort. For example, Gluttony can swallow a vulnerable angel whole for more health; it's a nifty skill to have when gunfire is flying from every direction and there isn't an apple in sight. Unfortunately, being able to attack and digest simultaneously broke combat variety for me; I had uncovered an impromptu easy mode, and every other Sin just wasn't worth the effort.
