Summary: Its capped at 28-30 fps for literally no reason. I truly wish I could find some way to disable this ridiculous locked framerate, but that's not even the worst thing about "Paraworld." It manages to hardly reinvent anything RTS-wise, which means if you've played the Empire Earth games or Warcraft, you're probably going to see some obvious similarities.
Summary: Paraworld is the game i will always love. After all these years, i can play it without problems, and with some bug fix for W7 and mappack made by the community. Well, this game did not have recognition, and it should. You are thrown into a world where dinosaurs roam the land and different tribes wage war on each other for the control of resources (wood, rock and food). Each of the three tribes have distinctly units and buildings and their own tamed dinosaurs.
Summary: Finally a fresh take on RTS games! No words can describe this game! Its a shame they never made a sequal to it. Its fun but skirmish games can last hours before you completely upgrade everything and produce your most powerful units. The graphics are pretty good depending on the what detail you have them set at. Runs on my Laptop w/ Windows 7. I would reccomend for any Dino Fan.
Summary: First copy didn't load. Returned for interchange and paid my own shipping and handling for exchange. Second copy works as advertized. I've only started but it seems to be an excellent game. The dinosaurs are there so how can you go wrong?
Summary: ...so I don't know why the package says it will not run on Vista. It will not run on Vista 64 bit, however. This is a GREAT game with tremendous scripts and design. Campaign games for rts are usually pretty dull, but PARAWORLD campaigns are super. It should have succeeded brilliantly in the market.
Summary: Have been playing this a long time and liked it so well I bought a new Logitech G5 gaming mouse in hopes that I could indeed program one of the 2 thumb buttons as a "pause" key, it worked! Runs nice and fluid using an AMD Athlon64 3500+ processor with XP on an NVidea 256MB DVI card giving me great rez on my flat screen and I also run TV on at the same time as Picture-in-picture. The DVI is great when running to the flatscreen, but VGA would suffice I am sure.
Summary: I saw this product selling for $5 the other day, but it's as much fun as any $30 RTS. It combines smart AI for worker units to allow you to take your attention off resource gathering with stunning graphics. It is truly beautiful to watch, and awe-inspiring to play; prehistoric units are anatomically correct and everything moves realistically.
Summary: Good game overall. Nice RTS game with good graphics. Worst part is that you are limited in unit building so you need to be careful in building only a few workers and more military units. Would recommend b/c of its low price and good over quality.
