  • Summary: Its capped at 28-30 fps for literally no reason. I truly wish I could find some way to disable this ridiculous locked framerate, but that's not even the worst thing about "Paraworld." It manages to hardly reinvent anything RTS-wise, which means if you've played the Empire Earth games or Warcraft, you're probably going to see some obvious similarities. This is unfortunate, since I was Its capped at 28-30 fps for literally no reason.

  • Summary: Paraworld is the game i will always love. After all these years, i can play it without problems, and with some bug fix for W7 and mappack made by the community. Well, this game did not have recognition, and it should. You are thrown into a world where dinosaurs roam the land and different tribes wage war on each other for the control of resources (wood, rock and food). Each of the three Paraworld is the game i will always love.

FINALLY!!!

Viking's Blood, Amazon
30 August 2012
  • Summary: Finally a fresh take on RTS games! No words can describe this game! Its a shame they never made a sequal to it. Its fun but skirmish games can last hours before you completely upgrade everything and produce your most powerful units. The graphics are pretty good depending on the what detail you have them set at. Runs on my Laptop w/ Windows 7. I would reccomend for any Dino Fan.

Fun, except...

Millilicious, Amazon
6 December 2010
  • Summary: The game is actually quite fun! I adore dinosaurs and was happy to find a game that is both graphically nice-looking as well as has a good UI system. Not only that, but it's a real time strategy which only enhances its playability. It's set up well and, despite its horrible Starforce drm, is quite fun. Now the reason I only gave it three stars: the women. If you want a game where the women are only there as sexual fodder, you have it.

A good copy always works

Richard W. Millwood, Amazon

  • Summary: First copy didn't load. Returned for interchange and paid my own shipping and handling for exchange. Second copy works as advertized. I've only started but it seems to be an excellent game. The dinosaurs are there so how can you go wrong?

I am running this game on Vista Home 32 bit...

Native Texan, Amazon
15 January 2009
  • Summary: ...so I don't know why the package says it will not run on Vista. It will not run on Vista 64 bit, however. This is a GREAT game with tremendous scripts and design. Campaign games for rts are usually pretty dull, but PARAWORLD campaigns are super. It should have succeeded brilliantly in the market.

but had to get a new mouse to program "pause"

J. Hester "TheHomeComputerGuy®", Amazon
1 October 2008
  • Summary: Have been playing this a long time and liked it so well I bought a new Logitech G5 gaming mouse in hopes that I could indeed program one of the 2 thumb buttons as a "pause" key, it worked! Runs nice and fluid using an AMD Athlon64 3500+ processor with XP on an NVidea 256MB DVI card giving me great rez on my flat screen and I also run TV on at the same time as Picture-in-picture. The DVI is great when running to the flatscreen, but VGA would suffice I am sure.
