Summary: I am so surprised this game got such bad reviews. There are, of course, better games out there but I nearly missed this solid game. There was the usual evil to be defeated by searching a nearly empty town, cemetery and sewer system for items to prepare potions as weapons. I didn't much care for some of their mini games but am glad to have spent several hours of good gaming. "Same old" but solid IMHO.
Summary: I played the CE demo and liked it enough to wait for the SE and buy. Didn't find this game as lousy as apparently many others around here did. Granted, preposterous storyline made no sense, but I'm totally used to that. HO adventure was pretty standard fare, but music was okay, hunts were fair, some good animations and not impossible traipsing around a bunch of places getting lost. So average and acceptable overall.
Summary: DISCLAIMER: I only played the free demo I agree with what just about everyone who has already reviewed this game has said. While the graphics are well done and the hidden object scenes are quite nice, there is nothing else to recommend the game. The mini-games are lackluster, the soundtrack doesn't offer much to the atmosphere, and the detective doesn't seem to know very much about paranormal phenomena because the victim's mother has to tell him what to do next.
Summary: What ruined this game for me was the silly mini games. It didn't take it long to launch into the old match this up mode. The game itself would be awesome without this stuff. Definately not worth the price of a CE. Play the demo before you buy. Downgraded this game to a 1 star after buying it. It's short, boring, and not worth the effort. minis are too easy, storyline is okay, but thankfully it was on sale before I bought. Don't recommend this one!!
Summary: (This is a bit of a re-post from my remarks at BFG from a few days ago)-- I didn't experience enough of this CE (???) to give this one the full chance, so I'll just warble on with comments---- Had to have the patience of Job for the demo D/L, and then--well--sort of nothing. (That's no emotion, one way or the other). The Loading screen (?)--two hissing, striking Cobras?
Summary: anyone else had problems with this game? Sometimes when I tried to click the arrow it kept closing down and hadn't recorded my progress. Then all the items for the moss destroyer disappeared and I couldn't get them back and couldn't get through the bit with the alligator and the meat on the hook. I've given up and asked for my money back!!!
Summary: Brotherhood is an iHOG where you investigate a series of murders in New Orleans. This is exactly as jkf said: Not a bad game, but not a great one. I should add: a boring one. The graphics are good, the HO scenes clear, relevant, and not to easy , and there is an (almost) new element of your “crimelab” where you has to solve puzzles. But the adventure is very limited and linear.
Summary: An average game, short and boring - not worth the CE price at all! Crisp and clear graphics but too many HOG scenes, confusing story line, repetitive HOG scenes and puzzles.Bonus Chapter is even worse, only 2 new locations and HOG scenes other than that? Short and visit the same old locations and play the same old HOG scenes!
